Episode Day 37 (14/10/14) Double eviction (one fake)

Somewhere between this season and last that TvFix site attached to ninemsn did an article about how Ben was just discovering social media, Grindr, etc (ETA I just looked and it was in November)

I sent an email to the journo saying you do realise this is all bullshit and he's had accounts on all, including Grindr before going into the house?

I get a response back from some Ch 9 PR flack saying they use all their resources at their disposal to vet the validity of interviewees and their statements. So I send back the screenshots of all the shit @Consuela found last year along with a comment about how if a person not employed as a journo can find this info in 5 minutes and disprove Ben's statements, surely all of their supposed resources would be able to suss it out. No reply.

THAT'S what shits me. People have schticks... fair enough. But they let their audience in on the joke. He is blatantly lying with all of this crap from his fake voice, fake oooh I knew nothing about social media, fake flubbing up/snorting/oh my I can't believe you know me bullshit after TELLING his social media fans to bombard BB so they let him go back into the house this season... You're surprised people know you yet you know how many social media followers you have and told total strangers to beg for you to be let back on a show you only made it halfway through last season. Yeah ok. He's the only reason I haven't bought that $500 package on their fundraising page yet. @SomeName reminded me of how much fun I'd have in the studio with them, etc and it's not much different than a night out but there's a big part of me that doesn't want HIM to succeed with this because he's full of shit.

Yeah. Even when he just walked onto stage you could see the confidence in his movements. He just seemed like a real dickhead. Then bam as soon as the camera came on he was his usual 5y/o self.

I actually felt a lot more respect for Ben2012 as he was real, in his good and bad bits.. I guess it's better to be hated for you raw realness than to be totally fake and 'loved'.

I'm not talking about disagreeing with those in power. Yes, David has had spats with the 'cool kids' before. But I'm talking about actively calling out these alpha groups and doing something proactive and make sure they DON'T have the power. We've seen David mention he knows who the alpha group is, but he has yet to rally the troops or do anything to try and balance the power dynamic that currently exists.

It's a question of who is the least saved housemate, and Lawson is more interesting to watch on the show atm with this whole Cat fiasco than Sam is, who doesn't contribute very much now. If it was to vote to evict it would've been Lawson no doubt.

He got boooed live on tele in front of Australia, come on, that's enough isn't it!

When Heidi came on stage in the break they were ripping into Lawson's friend saying Lawson was a cheater and asked everyone to raise their hand if they agreed.. Still didn't let the friend speak lol. The friend probably won't come back after that haha.

I feel sorry for the unpopular HMs friends sometimes, they have to cop the heat until their friend is evicted. Its not their fault their friend is behaving like a clown. How was Lawson's friend taking it? Was he laughing it off or was he shitty?

Other people have had the most saves by landslides on different weeks and not usually the ones we might have expected. I dont think Jump-In is a reliable guide to who wins or who should win. I think people are wasting their money voting, because the winner of Big Brother 2014 is already in a sealed envelope. Unless the show gets canned before the end, to save $200,000.00.
 
An interesting thought came to mind: Maybe Travie knows that BfB is fake and during his "stay" in the Sanctuary, the "student" can teach the "master" how to be real and authentic with his feelings and such.

As much as I enjoyed Ben during his season (especially all the tasks Big Brother made him do), I don't think Travis is really going to get any help from him. After all, he himself said he came in 8th place. We could end up with a more bearable, but sissified housemate.

Yes, Lawson or Travis were the right people to be fake evicted, because they would probably have the biggest impact when they come back in. Teflon (Ryan) will probably be up for nomination before Travis comes back in and his demeanour will evict him. So they will only have a few more days together. I hope Teflon has a few more cards than his frozen chicken, because after seeing it 3 times, I think we have all worked out how he does it. NOT MAGIC.

And you are right. His return will be very enjoyable to watch.

I am guessing that Travis and Aisha share a lot of the same fans so with Aisha safe he got her fans votes as well.

IF he did get to hear anything in the house, it would be a BIG advantage to him, because he could change his behaviour accordingly. But you know what they say about leopards.......

I dont think he can change, what we see is who he is, a boof-head. I just hope that Aisha has tagged up with Teflon (Ryan) while he is gone. I would like Travis to be able to SEE what was happening, but NOT HEAR what they are saying. Then he would be trying to work it all out inside his own head, what an impossible job that would be. It would also negate some of the advantage that he now has.

I'm pretty sure the housemates are already aware that it was a fake eviction... Sonya blew it when she was going to announce the first saved evictee to the housemates, introducing it as something like 'lets get to the real eviction, crossing to the house' (housemates all sit up) , so they would have heard all of that! (I'll get the exact words she used later when I have a chance).
