Who was the fake eviction?
well, i think trav has won me over![]()
Agree 100%.See, it's stuff like this that gets me fired up about this guy. He's an outright liar and his persona is as fake as f yet people still buy it! WHY?!
Somewhere between this season and last that TvFix site attached to ninemsn did an article about how Ben was just discovering social media, Grindr, etc (ETA I just looked and it was in November)
"The 31-year-old Brisbane boy revealed he's been trying his luck on mobile gay hook-up app Grindr.
"I thought since Channel Nine had dragged me into the 21st century with Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, which I've never had before, I might go all the way and try this Grindr contraption," Ben exclusively tells TheFIX."
I sent an email to the journo saying you do realise this is all bullshit and he's had accounts on all, including Grindr before going into the house?
I get a response back from some Ch 9 PR flack saying they use all their resources at their disposal to vet the validity of interviewees and their statements. So I send back the screenshots of all the shit @Consuela found last year along with a comment about how if a person not employed as a journo can find this info in 5 minutes and disprove Ben's statements, surely all of their supposed resources would be able to suss it out. No reply.
THAT'S what shits me. People have schticks... fair enough. But they let their audience in on the joke. He is blatantly lying with all of this crap from his fake voice, fake oooh I knew nothing about social media, fake flubbing up/snorting/oh my I can't believe you know me bullshit after TELLING his social media fans to bombard BB so they let him go back into the house this season... You're surprised people know you yet you know how many social media followers you have and told total strangers to beg for you to be let back on a show you only made it halfway through last season. Yeah ok. He's the only reason I haven't bought that $500 package on their fundraising page yet. @SomeName reminded me of how much fun I'd have in the studio with them, etc and it's not much different than a night out but there's a big part of me that doesn't want HIM to succeed with this because he's full of shit.
Who voted for lawson?
That's the real question

They're with each other 24/7 absolutely people can grow feelings for each other that quickly. And in a space that confined it is amplified. It's happened countless times before in previous Big Brother seasons so I don't know why it's so hard for you to believe? It will probably fizzle out once they leave the house like nearly all BB romances but I don't think he's making it up or just saying it to make her happy.well that's your perspective - not right, not wrong
however the way I see it is he was drunk when he agreed to go into the sanctuary
also guys sometimes say things just to keep a girl happy eg `I do too' or whatever he said
I just don't see how such strong true feelings could emerge after just a few weeks of knowing someone in a bubble
as opposed to his 3 year girlfriend in the REAL world

Mr Pudding enjoyed it immensely. He's surprised at himself and I think he has a crush on Mike Goldman haha.
I totally thought of 'Nadia' BBUK when I first saw this new chick Marina! Haha! totally glad I wasn't the only one.... too bad we cannot deprive Marina of some tobacco because perhaps we would be something interesting to see, but then again that would be yet another storyline and it would make it harder for the 'poor overworked editing team' to add it the much drama we already have (no pun intended). LOLNADIAMARINA IS A BORE.
That happened to me as well!hahah; just watching the recording -- and Siri springs to life on my phone. Some smartarse in the intro crowd yelling out "Hey Siri"???
Talk about a grouse way to create a botnet.

Who the fuck is saving Travis?
Thanx, now I'll be humming the Odd Couple theme all day
"On October 14th, Travis Lunardi was asked to remove himself from his place of residence, the Big Brother House. That request came from the Australian public. Deep down, he knew they were right, but he also knew that someday, he would return to the House. With nowhere else to go, he appeared at the Sanctuary, the temporary home of Bert Newton's illegitimate son, Ben 'From Brisbane' Zabel. Last season, the public had thrown him out in a fake eviction, requesting that he return. Can two evicted men share an apartment without driving each other crazy?"
I agree to an extent, but I also realise in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter. The HMs this year are a bunch of zombies who are afraid to go against group think. The sheep always need someone to follow and will always anoint a new alpha. If Sam, Ryan, Lawson etc are evicted, the new alpha will just become Travis and we'll see the same boring dynamic play out, just with different people. This is why people like Chrissy (BB02), Tim (BB05) and Tim (BB13) are so important in the game. In order for group dynamics to be interesting you need people who aren't afraid to go against consensus and call out those in power. This year we have either followers, or observers. The observers, like Priya and David, can see what's going on but are too passive to do anything about it. They won't bring on change, they'll just watch the existing dynamics and comment on it in the diary room. It makes for pretty underwhelming viewing. Not that I care enough to vote, nor am I a fan of Travis by any means, but I'm kind of glad that it was one of the alpha-group evicted, and Travis proved himself once again to be unevictable. Makes the game interesting.
He kinda just made fun of them. Guess who they were here for. Ask someone if they were Travis' gay lover. (I think it was Sam's friend) and kinda joked at how the well dressed gay guy was Jason's friend (it was) lots of sexual innuendo and gay talk but a lot of it was just Goldman making fun of these people, they didn't get the mic at all.Sorry if this has been asked already - did Mike Goldman interview the family and friends of the nominees at the front of the crowd last night, the way they used to show us but don't the last couple of weeks???
