Episode Day 14 (21/09/2014) Big Brother: Sunday

I hadn't watched this episode yet (it's not on YT yet), but just from the comments in this thread, I don't think I should. Maybe I'll just FF through it to see Tim. It's strange, we hadn't seen Big Brother screwing around with the individual HMs' heads this season.

Feel like corporate puppet, Timmy? Hope this works.

So everyone in this house is a disgusting human being.

Except Big Brother.

I 'like' you, 'just kiss me', all talking about who they are crushing on after not even 2 weeks, this rubbish is getting more and more high school soap opera by the second. They should just film the kids at Timbertop, would be 1000 times more interesting than this farce.

What is happening hereee?????

An episode of the hills.

I was thinking more along the lines of Beverly Hills, 90210. Or the new 90210, whichever is trashier.

Sooooooo

It seems that every Sunday episode is going to be a "ply them with alcohol and let them pash in the spa" thing.

You know, for the mature content.

Yeah, I'm thinking I should skip Sunday episodes. It's sad, though. I keep telling Americans how good this show is, and this year is proving me wrong.

He has gone to the dark side.:(

I wouldn't say dark side as much as I would say family. He's a made man.

This is so not Tim speaking.

Tim would never push anybody to change the way they look.

Channel Nine's money changes everything.

The hypocrisy of Lisa was really annoying to me, saying Gemma shouldn't be upset when she cries plenty. She was actually better when with Jake but in general I find her annoying.

Tim seems to have been sent in to just start the showmance talk yet again. I suppose that's not too surprising with his own attempts (rather failed) at a showmance last year. The producers no doubt encouraged all this. But I'm with Gemma, showmances are boring and they are at least a bit fake to get votes for people who would otherwise be considered very boring. Gemma and Priya in not being available for showmances are definitely big underdogs.

Tim also seemed rather disingenuous in saying he supports the misfits while wanting David to be less of a misfit. And he went on about considering shaving his head last year, but he didn't. Maybe the producers see more showmance potential with David, but I hope Gemma stays as she is the REAL misfit.

Can anyone clarify what Sam was talking about last night when he was in bed next to Sandra and he said he would get in trouble? In trouble for what?

Whether they were real, lasted, or were hard to watch, the Drully and Jaded pairings - including Tully's machinations against Jade to get Drew - drove so much of the stories in last years show. Pathetic as it is, I think they hope they can rehash that type of stuff to create interest in this year's show - rather than just letting us get to see the HMs just be left alone to be themselves.

I didn't mind that episode, and it just reinforced my feelings that
a) Lisa is a see you next tuesday!
b) Gemma is entertaining with all her awkwardness and weird way she thinks she is playing the game lol.
and
c) I still dont really have an opinion on Ryan, he and a few others are always in the background.

I see an argument between Lisa and Skye in the upcoming episodes, atleast I hope there is!
I'm honestly not sure why chucking a tantrum would make the audience feel like they want to save her..

I'm still having serious PTSD flashbacks from Gemma MAULING Jake in the spa

I thought she was supposed to be a great kisser haha.

They had a couple of showmances last year but this year it's like they want to start speculation with virtually all of them which is a bit much I think.

It's beyond me what gave Alex the idea that this is what BB fans wanna watch. I think he's mistaken his own proclivities as a common trait among fans and projected them on the rest of the BB viewers.

Gemma is super strange... She has not thought it through at all.

Actually I disagree.. I hated Gemma before tonight's show but I totally had a moment of clarity. The ONLY link we have to the house this year is the daily shows. And if you are the only person in the daily shows people only remember you. I think her storm off session was completely brilliant... ALL of the housemates are sitting down at the table, and all of the cameras are on the table. Gemma stormed off and what happened to the dinner? She knew that if she was inside the house the cameras would be following her because everyone else is at the table. I mean I like her, at least she is trying to get air time, and being completely successful, half the show was about her. Then in turn half of the chat on here is about her #winning

They are in the background because Gemma is scoring serious air time by storming off at dinner #brilliant

Sheesh. Shomance city.

I agree, seriously why is it that people just want to date, it's not a dating show..

Also good on Tim for giving David some air time and trying to help him out. Was anyone else curious as to there being nothing about Tim and Jake being housemates. I mean clearly this could advantage Jake hugely. I know I may be too conspiracy theory but I get the feeling that Tim was trying to push Lisa onto Jake tonight so that drama ensues. Considering they are housemates I think that Tim was definitely letting Jake know that making a love triangle will get him air time and take precious daily show air time away from other people..

IF production got any inkling of Tim giving handy hints to Jake it would have been editted out and Tim would have been putting his connection with BB on the line - he's no fool and has already made it clear that Jake will win this on his own merits or not at all and that he won't be campaigning for him etc etc

Im wondering now that Tim has been up close and personal to Skye if he still finds her remotely attractive - with the heavy makeup and high maintenance appearance she really does not seem his true type at all ... but in stirring the pot for Lisa and Skye in relation to any showmance with Jake was he also trying to make the way clear for himself to have time with Skye? sneaky Tim!

wonder how the ratings went last night and if they spiked how long that will be maintained once Tim leaves ... somehow I don't think they'll hold the interest but as always I'd be happy to be proven wrong :)[DOUBLEPOST=1411343928][/DOUBLEPOST]
Tomorrow night: Tim shaves one of the poodles. Housemates get to decide which one.
are the poodles even still in the house or were they evicted due to lack of interest?
