Yep. I've been posting in the Jason thread about a comment his brother made on BB's facebook tonight that kind of goes against the whole Jason was disowned when he came out story. (The same story they're promoting on Facebook and apparently the OS now.) They not only deleted his brother's comment but mine when I tried to repost it for him. Now he's asking why they deleted it and haven't given him a response. They're trying to control everything. How they could possibly think this strategy will somehow result in higher ratings or more voting $ is beyond me.
I hate to continuously tag these two and ask the same thing, but honestly... @Tim @marquisite this is another perfect reason for a front page article. To uncensor anything that the production crew are very wrongly trying so hard to censor. This story in particular goes against everything that the show is about - and while I get that Jason's "signed his soul" to BB to be represented in any way they see fit, but not only is something like this damaging to his family but it's 100% totally manipulating the viewers. I can't even begin to describe how disgusted I am that they are so willing to fake everything we are seeing out of that house!
To misrepresent Jason's coming out story is a truly despicable thing to do. If this is true, no words will begin to describe how disgusting Channel 9 is.
I reckon they should interview his brother. He is obviously trying to speak out and I don't blame him because I sure as hell would do the same thing. I tried to post a comment about this horseshit under the "Jason's Heartbreaking Story" article on the OS and that's moderated too so unless they approve my comment - hahaha - it won't see the light of day. Imagine that was your family and you see BB Facebook and the OS are promoting this article that shits on your family and won't let you even have your say?! I'd be going the f off.
Unless Sandra somehow gives us 100% confirmation she's camerashy, and I mean blatantly saying it to us, I'm not voting. No hope in hell. I already wrote my US friends earlier and told them if they want to vote this year they need to find someone else in Australia to Paypal the $ to and put the votes in for them. Two of them have written back already to say they're not only not voting but they're not watching now. They used to come lurk in the LF threads after work as that was really the only time that they'd be in sync with us but now without that, they're out completely. Sucks for Ch 9 because those girls spent a hell of a lot of $ last year voting.
That's what I just don't get- the other bb's around the world looked to our bb tactics and tried to incorporate it into their shows, so why would channel 9 ruin a good thing? It makes no sense! It was leading the way. It encouraged world wide viewing... is it because it was not encouraged on their sites? It wasn't their sites generating all the hype? I just don't get it! I cant spend money on the voting because I've spent most of the new season complaining, and giving them money is saying they win and I'm okay with it. I'm not! I'm devastated! I stayed around on these boards during the off season because I couldn't wait for its return- and what a letdown it has been

Ch 9 better have extra security that night because I'll use the $ I would normally spend on voting to pay someone here to shout out "this is bullshit" and "he was never disowned" from the crowd.
