Are we seriously getting no live updates at all this year?

Well if it's not permanent they should at least put a Live Update link on their site and say something lame like 'coming soon' etc. Unless Alex likes having his newsfeed clogged with complaints.

That article should give Mike Goldman a break - he did give a direct reply to the question at least, and honestly, that reply actually does tell us a lot: the chances of seeing feeds this year are likely slim to none. Blame the guys in charge, but don't say Mike's "washing his hands of the question", c'mon.
 
I think it might be because most housemates are friends with a lot of ex housemates, Controle on who we want to win has been taken away with no live feeds, bb has control who wins this season..lost a fan now, been a huge fan since the very first bb :-(
 
Probably at this stage should stop annoying Mike about this.

Nah the live updates were pretty censored anyway. This does give them stronger control at completely hiding things which have gone on, but it was always pretty censored except when we had uplate and video streams.

Nope. If anything it's a little gentle. Let's hope MS media pick it up.

What really scares me is if they can keep changing the format as they have done in the last 3 seasons, what's to stop them from making a change next year where the public no longer votes, but the HMs do (yes, JUST like the USABB).

That way, they can record it months in advance. We're only ONE step away from it now.

Even if not, this site attracts A LOT of readers - maybe even a slightly higher amount than the OS does - especially from news outlets and the media.

So it'll definitely get seen either way, whether they pick it up or not.

Sigh.

To be honest this could be the difference between watching the series to its end and exiting early. It makes no difference for voting, I already put up a stand to not vote when the live house streams were axed.
 
if there are no live updates by tomorrow then we should make our own unflattering ones up for the rest of the series.

Yeah it's done and dusted. Plus if they were coming back the Live account would've tweeted something by now, if only a "stay tuned". You'd think at least the main twitter, BB facebook, Alex, that social media guy, someone, would've at least acknowledged all the questions and complaints they're being bombarded with and tried to spin it somehow.

Where are all those Daily Mail writers who've stayed perched in the Post BB thread looking for "inspiration" for the past 9 months?! Surely they could contact Alex to force a response out of him.

Yo Alex - we know you're reading this. We all make mistakes. It's never too late to admit you're wrong and start those vids up now.
