When was this pic from? One of the after parties? Tully looks absolutely stunning...outshines Sonia.

*re cyclone... It's the constant changing in the updates that freaks everyone out... Thankfully went to the shops yesterday for supplies when we saw the BoM getting nervy about it. Had no elec/water for 5 days after Yasi...
AND NO INTERNET!!!!! We were ready to club each other to death, like cavemen!

It was taken on finale night - at the after party. I agree Tully looked stunning.

Oh dear. End of the world. Might have to resort to cards or board games. ( like pre computerised times)

I've been in several natural disasters...was in Qld when the floods of I think 1974 hit (we were isolated for about a week), Out at sea during a monsoon in the Phillipines in 1989 and in Newcastle for the earthquake of 1990. Also had several friends that lost their homes during cyclone Tracey. All very scary experiences and none I would wish on anyone. #imachildofthesixties

My grandparents lost everything in those 1974 Brissie floods... You're right, there are idiots on FB wishing this storm to come their way... Personally, I'm wishing it to die out and just bring rain to the farmers, inland. Problem is, it will be TOO MUCH RAIN!!

Haha... Yep, that was fun for 2 days! Then cabin fever kicked in, then the closest Dan Murphy's ran out of ice!! Then we just sat staring at each other in silence, wondering who was gunna CRACK first!!! Lol... Just kidding, sort of. The generator was hooked up to the graywater coz that stopped running which is very, very bad!! The neighbours brought in a massive gennie to run one aircon so we were sleeping with no fans, windows open...listening to this BIG ARSED generator and picturing them sleeping in luxury. It sucked.

That would suck big time. Hopefully you won't be without power after this one.

5 days would of seemed forever. i'm the one that rings the power co up at 3.00am to tell them we have no power, i don't need it, i just like to know it's there. no water would get me the most, how awful. it's only Tues so it could change direction or die out, i'm hoping for you anyway

Other things I can tell you -

Drew is posting lots of pictures privately to Facebook.

As far as I know Tully hasn't been doing the same.

Drew was at the MCG yesterday for the T20 Big Bash.

Tully was spotted by three people on King Street today - so pretty sure she was on King Street.

The only good part of floods when I younger was that many young farmers would escape to town and stay (with us) so that they weren't stuck out on the One Tree Plain or some such. Nothing but min min lights there. Bundy rum really does smell worse the next day in the pores of the skin ;)

are they pussy ears? is this photo from his FB? what a shame we don't get to see them :(

Tully on the other hand has been visiting memory lane and sharing special ones with everyone, they're lovely :)
