Seems like he knew exactly what he was doing when favouriting that tweet the other day about Jade being free to be with DC.
They've (?selectively) ignored the snap chat thing where they broke up 2 weeks ago. Here you have it again *hint hint*:

Yep - and on FB they were smugly saying that Ed was laughing at the poster as he knows Jade is his. Greg also posted on Jade's photo with CH and the other guy that he was sure Ed had nothing to worry about.

And this is the connection (if one exists) that seems contradictory. If she broke up with him, why? If he started escalating the bimbo bombing after the picture with Chef Hottie, why was he liking her photos almost in competition with Chef Hottie when he seems to be enjoying his "freedom"?
Ps...I have a longer post in response to your response to my theoretical post about what's gone on but I'll hold off until the excitement has passed

Here's Dan this morning on the Today Show. I have a hard time believing that that girl was right and Jade wasn't with Dan at the beach. The hair and the body shape is the same. Maybe she's not a Masterchef fan... only like 30 people watched it this year so it'd be somewhat understandable if she has no clue what she's talking about.

I believe she ended it after whatever happened on that Saturday night (the night of Nick's disappearing "whereed, #bignight photo, and Tahan mystery 3am following of Jade on instagram). Jade left the next day and that is the day Ed has said they broke up (and the feeling by most is that it may have been an earlier departure than planned). Things seemed to have been on an even keel until that night, and that is when the out of town boys were there. She was served in Woolies down near Liverpool (a good hour out of Sydney) later on Sunday, so we know she definitely left fairly early. As she spent the next couple of days just going to the gym and shopping locally, she didn't leave for any pressing obligation, and the Monday was the day of the 'when your day doesn't go according to plan' photo. So I believe it was an unexpected break, and something happened that Saturday night after the movies to precipitate it.
Why would it escalate after the photo? Ego. If she had ended it (whether Ed was OK with it or not) and she is suddenly photographed with someone who she had previously said was the ideal man - and people immediately then started posting on Ed's things that CH was much better than Ed - then tit-for-tat.
Has he been simply enjoying his freedom, or busily posting everything he can to appear to be unconcerned by Jade?
I think he is fine with it emotionally, but I think something happened, she ended it (and was probably upset about it), and he wasn't expecting to be inundated with posts about CH and is reacting to that. If they decided to remain friends, then it would be natural to like her stuff anyway, but I think he may have felt some unexpected twinges of jealousy with Jade appearing to move on so soon

Yeah that's what I was wondering. I don't think teenage girls are really the Masterchef demographic. I've been trying to search for more pics of them on Instagram but those friggen Little Mix and One Direction fans are clogging up almost every tag I search. Surely someone else has seen them there. Him liking the pic straight away is a pretty big clue I think.
