Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I commented with a similar post last night and it seems quite a few people are feeling the same way. Ed has been vilified to the point where any pic, any mention, any move he makes is construed to be an evil plot in which Jade is the victim... Even a photo of him drinking coconut water was twisted to be something it clearly wasn't. The fact is, Jade is not portraying herself as a jilted lover or victim of Ed's unrequited love so why are people presuming she is going down that road?

I do understand that Jade's fans are concerned that Ed hasn't publicly acknowledged their relationship as being 'on'...but he is clearly sticking to what he said to Jade in the house; see where it all goes postBB. They obviously aren't 'dating' as they live thousands of km's from each other and have separate commitments. As a poster said earlier, if Ed was gushing all over Jade and loving her 'too much', that would also be cause for him getting a public flogging.

I just think if Ed was one of my sons, or nephews, or even a friend, I would be very sad to see him hung over and over again... His name has been absolutely dragged through the mud, IMO, without any real evidence (as you said). Speculation over HM's crosses the line when rumour and false information become a mindset.

Haha...I doubt she goes around calling one of her precious baby boys "emotionally stunted".

More than anything, I want Jade to wise up and walk away from Ed, because I don't think he will ever fully appreciate the complete package that she is. But being incompatible (and I've come to really think they are) doesn't mean that he's evil personified. I think he has way less impact on her than people assume when it comes to her views on other HMs, and I don't think all of her difficulties in the house can be traced solely to him.

If I'd ever seen any evidence that Ed is capable of relating in an emotional way to any other person, I would assume his treatment of Jade is deliberate. But I honestly think the idiot doesn't know any better. I feel sorry for him, most of the time, because he's really only half living life. At the same time, he could disappear into internet oblivion and I wouldn't give a darn, because I don't care about him personally. His impact on Jade is really the only reason he even crosses my mind at this point.

Good point.
I just feel it's a shame that Jade is still copping negativity about it all, no matter what she does.
To look at her though she appears happy, so I guess we just have to assume SHE knows where things are at, and that's what's important.
 
@ LoveBB l do agree with a lot of that, and the speculation posed as fact gives me a headache.
If Jade is happy we probably should be too, hard as it is when we see hateful comments against her.

She's getting out and about, amongst the people, a lot more this week...good to see! From the pics I've seen on this thread, she's taking in all in and loving it! I was so pleased to hear she officially had a Manager.
