Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

20 minutes left at work and my motivation to start something else has faded.
Nobody's posting any pictures, there's not even any interesting arguments or trolling I can watch on here. Dying of boredom lol.
I need drinks I think...

Looking forward to seeing more pics from Screamworld tonight I guess?

Do we think it's going to be Jade and Tim there or do we think Ed is going to show up as well?

I'm hoping Ed has somewhere else to be. If he isn't back in Melbourne till Wednesday he must have other things he should be doing so hopefully he'll be heading off soon (so long as it isn't related to the cricket)

I hope it's Jade and Tim, it should be more focus on them the finalist.
I'm going to try my best not to say anything about Ed over the weekend.
Let's see how long it will last. lol
 
I bet Ed will some how get himself an invite to Screamworld tonight ..will Ed be that 3rd wheel with Jade and Tim, if he attends? LOL

I think maybe it will just be Jade and Tim, otherwise the other HM who are living locally atm would be going as well? although if Tahan isnt going, they might want another HM to attend to the promo duties?

Wow, lots to catch up on. Great detective work guys!

Ed is going to be away from his beloved Melbourne til Wednesday. Whatever it is, it's gotta be good. My guess is cricket over the weekend and then a short break on the Sunshine coast with Matt. He could of course be following Jade to Sydney tomorrow.
 
Surely Ed wont go to scream world! It's Jades time to shine not his, but on a side note I'm tipping tim would be a lot more popular than Ed and there's no love lost between Ed and Tim so I highly doubt Ed would go. As long as Jade doesn't meet up with him later tonight! I was all for this couple but that last poser photo of Ed that Jade posted smells of an egomaniac and I just hope jade sees through it!!! She lights up a room, I don't want Ed to dim her lights!!!!!
 
No I don't have any hatred towards Ed. I've never met him , nor do I know him personally. I just don't think he does himself any favours and instead of him coming out like a real man should and say yes they are dating or no they aren't, it's like some car and mouse game playing out on the public eye. Him and Jade put themselves in the public eye going on BB so they obviously wanted to be in the limelight, with that comes people's perceptions of them whether they are good or bad.
 
This will not be popular, but I'm going to agree with those who say Ed gets a little too much shit on this thread.

I don't like the guy for Jade, I'm not going to deny it. I'd like him to be as far away from her as possible because she always ends up a little diminished with him around.

Having said that, I don't think he's evil and I honestly believe he has TRIED to be as up front with Jade, and even the public, as it is possible for him to be. He's handicapped by his own emotional detachment and need to please, a combination of which makes everything he does seem fake and vaguely manipulative, but I think don't think he's ever planned any of it.

If Ed had been a total dick, he would have taken the really easy route and told Jade that he loved her. He would have told the world the same when he got out and was questioned relentlessly and mocked for his response. That he didn't do so has always been a mark in his favor, as much as it probably hurts Jade.

I think his desperation to never be the bad guy ends up turning him into the bad guy, but I don't think it's deliberate and I don't think he is intentionally trying to project something he doesn't feel. I think he's convinced himself that he's doing all the right things, even as neutral spectators can sense that he's simply going through the motions. If he was a stronger man or had more self awareness, I think he would realize that he's hurting Jade (and himself, at least in the public's eyes) but I think his identity is so tied into the idea of him being right and doing the right thing, that he doesn't realize it's all wrong.

For me, personally, I know Ed will more than likely disappoint Jade over and over again before she finally lets it all go, and, knowing that, I come down hard on him. However, until I see actual evidence that he is deliberately misleading her or playing her for the publicity, I'm going to consider it all just a matter of poor choices by an emotionally stunted man who wants to do the right thing but can't do it because he doesn't know any better. **

**I will not be giving his douchebag twin the same benefit of the doubt, so any time the two are together, all promises are void!
