Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I feel like we're giving Ed WAY more credit than he deserves in terms of being 'strategic' in what he is posting etc. I look at it from another view - that his subtle acknowledgments of Jade are just his way of not giving too much away and avoiding public scrutiny. It's the same approach he poorly attempted in the house. I'd also like to hope his not a total asshole and isn't stringing Jade along purely because it is generating interest.

Also why is Jade posting couple type photo's to Instagram now? I can't see her going along with the charade just for interest/publicity.

I just did a google search for Jade Albany and this thread comes up as the 9th thing listed, just after her facebook, twitter and other social media accounts.

If the results are the same for them, then they know of this thread and I would not be surprised any more if they are following it.

Yeah, I don't think he's super strategic. Everything that's going on seems more like sledgehammer stuff...like every post that mentions him, essentially, as long as it's not negative. Love everyone who is a "fan" no matter if the person is a fan of him or of THEM. He just wants to stay relevant any way he can.

And with Jade, who knows. Maybe she's just doing it to shut people up about him. I have no idea.

Obviously Jade likes him, but that was never an issue that required too much speculation. I still stand by my initial thoughts after Ed's interview that they're still in the same holding pattern as they were a couple of weeks ago. Like I said, I think Jade has the "expect the worst, hope for the best" mentality like we saw on the show. It's unfortunate but I think Ed will ultimately be the one that gets to decide whether they're together or not. I wish Jade had enough self-confidence to realise she's too good for him and stand up and tell him to bugger off if he's dragging his feet, but it's freaking hard to do that when you have strong feelings for someone. She did say she was in love with him in the house, and unfortunately when you're that infatuated you'll take any sign (i.e. liking your Twitter posts) that they're keen too.

Just reading the other thread and the outrage because she dared to post a photo (after Ed has been consistently favouriting HER photos as well). Yeesh.

She obviously still likes him - it's not a crime to post a photo, out of a magazine that came out 2 days ago (not like 6 months ago or anything). She can't win. Ffs some people..

Posting a photo of him is nothing, haven't they realised that Ed is in her cover photo for her instagram account? It is pretty obvious that they are still communicating just not publicly.

What I don't like is he seems to take 1 step forward with their relationship but then take 2 steps back when things get too real for him.
 
Might throw a little speculation out there...

We think Ed reads here, so he may well have ending reading about Heidi saying she wanted to take a sword to Jade and kill her (and he had recorded this morning's bit saying that Heidi is one of his closet friends from the house). I thnk it was after that interview that he started favouriting stuff about Jade again. Damage control regarding Heidi's spray?

I was thinking that too and Jade is being a friend and helping him out by re-tweeting some positive post about him in her twitter.

I still don't know why he can like these people who passionately hates on Jade. Again he still doesn't stand up for her. Far from being Prince Charming in my book.

I understand that, but she has not been publicly acknowledging that hope, so it seems just a little odd that she would choose now to do it. She's been absolutely silent on the matter, as we've all pointed out, since even before Melbourne. She didn't post that pic yesterday, she went with her girls, she seemed very focused on career and friends. Out of the blue she posts the pic with Ed.

Just seems strange.

So they aren't boyfriend/girlfriend - they're still communicating OBVIOUSLY derrr. Doesn't mean that they're not friendly even if it hasn't developed into anything else.
It was weirder to me when there was nothing at all to be honest.

Some of those people just loves to hate on Jade. They were doing it while she was still in the house, where they made fun of everything that she did. I'm not surprise at all at some of those people.

Yes to all of this.

And to be fair, Ed did say to Heidi they haven't spent much time together out of the house yet. We don't know if they have plans to get together again in the future to see what happens or if it's just more of Ed's babbling without not saying anything at all. Tim was definitely right though - Ed is riding her back in the whole thing, whether intentionally (my vote) or not just like when he was in the house although he wouldn't have been aware of the extent at the time until his brother dropped a clue. If there ever comes a day she tells him to piss off for good, 99.9% of this forum will be cheering in the streets.
 
I've stopped following Ed on twitter and instagram, so can you guys check if he's simply favoriting everything that mentions him or tags him? Because that's how it appears to me, and it just so happens that most of that just happens to deal with Jade as well, which is not that surprising.

If that's the case, we're definitely reading more into it than is necessary!

Now that you mention it, that freaking bugs me too. If Ed did hear that comment about wanting slash/cut Jade to death, then I am extraordinarily disappointed in him. Obviously he still had to go on the show if he was committed to it, but the sucking up to Heidi and calling her his best friend in the house after her saying that about Jade is so incredibly weak.
 
It is very obvious Jade's Achilles heel is Ed. Every girl has one. That special one that you abandon your sense and pride. Let the girl live free. Why must every action be examined? Cant it not be done just because the heart desires it and be damned with consequences?

A lot of chatter and speculation!...I feel like I am reading Tabloid Nw paper. LOVE IT !! :)

He has favourited a couple of tweets this morning that have asked him about Jade. I'll see if I cn get a screen shot of some.

You have to understand that Jade and Ed never really had common friends in the BB game. What brought them together was her feelings for him. Don't expect something from Ed that you wouldn't want to also hold on Jade. Same can be said about Jade being "friendly" with Tim ( which I don't mind at all) and that pathetic-spineless- carbon copy of Tim- that goes by the name Drew.

ALTHOUGH - I do think that Heidi is taking it to another level and it seems weird that he would not say few words to defend her just as she does for him..I get it a lil bit
