My joke: It was Jade who doesn't want a relationship now because she wasn't so impressed with living condition of the sport manager.
Ed is the one who wants the relationship work because he has realised Jade is a keeper through spammed comments from fans ;). He starts to miss her & looks for her photos (swimsuits included ;)

Of course not. So essentially - no they are not together, but he wants people to think that they might be so that they maintainan interest in him

Having said that Annie isn't unattractive, just a bit plain. I think Annie and Ed suit each other more than Jade and Ed - only going by the pics I've seen, of course.

When I saw her I wasn't expecting her to be so gorgeous. Sometimes when you see famous people in real life they are not as, shall we say photoshop? But Jade was absolutely beautiful in real life, the photos don't do her justice.

His face is tagged. When you're in the instagram app you just tap on the photo and both Jade's and Ed's instagram names pop up!

Yep, didn't expect anything more or less from Ed. He is so fucking boring!
I think just like in the house his friends still makes the decisions for him. No guts what so ever.
 
How do people tell who has liked something on Instagram by the way? (apart from going through a whole list lol)

My gut feeling is that they still haven't talked it through and are essentially stuck in the same holding pattern as they were when they first left the house. I really do think Ed is taking advantage of the fact that Jade has BB commitments so he has an excuse to put off having that talk for awhile longer. On Jade's end, I think the minimal Ed mentions are quite telling, however I'm not sure if she sees the writing on the wall and is distancing herself publically to save face (like you said), or is going through with her decision to let him chase her. Either way, when it comes to that relationship I'm getting the impression that Jade has the "expecting the worst, hoping for the best" mentality at the moment. Hence why she's still liking his updates/photos but not posting about him. I very much doubt anything sour has gone down with them, but at the same time I also doubt they're in any type of secret relationship away from the public.

What I do find interesting is that Ed posted a photo of Annie on Instagram last night. Now I'm firmly on the side of "there's nothing with him and Annie at the moment at all" side, however I'm wondering if it means anything that he posted a photo of a girl that wasn't Jade to begin with. He'd know there's a swarm of people following his updates wondering what his intentions are with Jade, and he'd probably also know that not many of the general audience would know that girl was his roommate. So that leads me to ask: is Ed trying to stay something to us by posting a photo of another girl? Just as we speculated yesterday what he meant by posting a photo of Jade under the guise of talking about Matt, what is he trying to say now? Or have we all seriously overestimated Ed's intelligence and skills in image construction and he's really just posting whatever the hell he wants without thinking too much into it?

Ed was the one doing the posting of the ariport (and favouriting the replys about Jade) and all the pics of them and just Jade. When you factor in the tweets that Ed was favouring last night - I kinda think you may well be right with your suggestion of just posting whatever takes his fancy at the time.

Edit- he's favouiting more Jade stuff this morning. Perhaps after the quiet social media weekend he's realised that he is pretty irrelevant on his own, and is trying to spin it out?? No freaking idea, really (i'll probably have another point of view soon)

I think I understand where Ed's coming from in terms of partnering with his brother in their adventures. It's not unusual for family and or friends of HMs to also gain same attention as can be seen by how popular Fabio became (or how Leesa has managed to build a following, though she's unrelated to any HM). Obviously Ed and Nick were hoping for the same thing. Now it seems like Ed is trying to have both things, working with Nick but keeping fans happy by continuing to subtly acknowledge Jade. If he's read this thread (and I wouldn't be surprised at this point, considering that he seems to have searched out everything written about him) he'll know that there are people posting when he favorites certain tweets, so he would keep doing it.

As for the Annie thing, I personally think people have made a mountain out of a mole hill, to the point that Ed almost HAS to post casual pictures of her, otherwise it looks like he's "hiding" her for some nefarious reason. Again, if he's followed online talk (and with Leesa's blog, he has to know the subject has come up!) he's got to try to defuse the situation without acknowledging there IS a situation. I don't think he's done a good job, obviously, but, then again, I really don't think he's done a good job with anything.

This latest non-answer just kind of confirms these thoughts. He's not going to give up on the idea of him and Jade publicly because it still draws interest.

And....now Jade tweets the pic of them in NW so I have NO IDEA what is up, other than they HAVE to be following this thread...

As much as his responses like this drive me up the wall, I expected that's exactly what he'd say. Also I'm happy he didn't give a definitive answer on that show because I wouldn't want Heidi having the satisfaction of getting the scoop first, especially after her comments yesterday about wanting to slash Jade to death with a sword.
