Hey Splashedblue,

There was a blog which triggered some discussion in the forums today.

Basically, it suggested Ed was in a relationship with his housemate Annie prior to entering the BB house because he apparently said 'I'm so sorry' at last nights eviction show. People are running with this story despite the fact Ed actually said 'Im so nervous' and it was said to ex-housemate Maddie. I was just suggesting people will 'see' what they want to see - if it paints Ed in a negative light, because the whole story is completely untrue.

And, honestly, I DO think Ed has tried to be as careful as possible with Jade. I think it's really easy for some people to say "I love you", without really meaning it. Tully was throwing that word at Drew 6 weeks after meeting him, while she was in a relationship elsewhere, and she was still throwing that word around about her GF as well. (This is not bagging on her, it's just an example of ease of use) I think the word has meaning to Ed and he couldn't, in all honesty, say it to her even when he maybe wanted to, just so she wouldn't feel so bad.

The one thing I don't like about Tim's comments about Ed's good-bye is his assertion that Ed was holding back what he was really feeling. Just because Tim proclaimed his love for Boog after a week doesn't mean other people take love as lightly. There is, I think, a balance between Ed's and Tim's approaches but I also think it's such an individual thing that I am reluctant to declare the behavior "right" or "wrong".

Agree with the holding back his feelings. Media savvy and will keep as much as possible his private life private.

When you mentioned it was related to your work, I thought it must have something to do with Psychology. I'm glad you found us, I really enjoy your insights and seem to always agree with you. :-)

Jade's cousin was sitting next to Nick. While Ed was walking down the runway, Nick was standing up with a girl on his left who he whispered something to, and Maddie on his right. The girl on his left called something out to Ed, and he kissed her but said nothing, he shook Nick's hand, then kissed Maddie and said he was so nervous. Maddie said something back to him, possibly 'don't be' while shaking her head and hand trying to reassure him. Maddie's comment may have been misinterpreted as 'sorry' as it was unclear what she said, but Ed's comment could for once be clearly understood.

And like you said, I love this Jade, she´s doing it quite good this week with the others!!

I don't think he was holding back his feelings at all. He was honest he said he doesn't reciprocate at the moment, which is fair enough and completely believable. This is the same guy who just a few months ago said he had no interest, I admire him for his honesty he knows what love is and knows that's not what he's feeling. I don't think he feels nothing for her, but too many people throw the love word around when what they're really feeling is lust.

Ugh DS isn't on yet here and DS thread Is full of Jade bashing. Gees, give the girl a fucking break heartless a-holes. Seriously. She's been amongst it all day , getting involved when obviously she'd be upset. You think she's in the mood for watching people talk shit about her? Gees . Enough.

I guess I just hoped at this point they'd get over the mocking and act like empathetic humans.

Never mind, each to their own.

Regardless of what's gone down with the housemates, l LOVE how Tim and Drew were in that conversation. Shows too that Jade knows very well that it may not work out and still she's being called names in here making her out to be something she's not.

Voted a few more times in protest lol

Just watched the Ed goodbye message and I'm laughing because these guys so don't know what awkward conversations Jade and Ed usually have because his goodbye was downright romantic in comparison.

And Boog continues to tell them to just let it be. She really has me curious about what he said to her as well as how her previous knowledge fits with all of this.
 
I´ not watching the episode, but i´m following it by twitter and it seems like Jade has been targeted by Big brother tonight. So sad. I hope she´s fine.
 
Notice how Jade is sitting at the end of the table, not only physically apart from the others? There are still 2 grups. One is Jade, the other group is the rest of the HMs, LOL! Its really funny how the entire "boring" group have left now (except Jade), but all the "Toilet" group are still there.

So funny when Jade goes to the Diary Room after every eviction and cries and says "Why do all the good ppl go, and the horrible ones stay". Makes me LMAO!
