Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I don't mind Tim but I think he overestimates people's feelings sometimes. Not everyone is competing to win, some people like Jade are just taking things as they come. I wish he wasn't so calculating. On another note, I can't figure out why Drew really hates Jade. Is it the jealousy and disdain for JadEd? Or is his love for Tully making him bashful of everyone else? Is that why he's been such a bitch dobbing people in? Cause he's lost the insanity that is Tully?

Same here, I really don't understand what is going on with him. And the way he expresses his disdain is so vicious and cruel sometimes.

It was an interesting convo because they were really talking to each other but not honestly, at least not on Tim's part.

Just in that snippet, Tim contradicted himself...nominations are a joke, but, oh, they aren't because he used his to try to get Jade to take out Boogs. Which was such a lame argument because shouldn't he have put up bulletproof Tahan if he really wanted Boogs gone?

And did Ed actually compare himself and Jade to Drew and Tully? And what the hell does he think Australia has seen? Does he not remember that he nominated Jade even after the whole putting her up fiasco?

But I just realized why Drew might hate Jade so much....Tim saved her and not Tully the week Tully went.

Jade always get the shitty end of the stick, shouldn't he be going after Tim for that not Jade?

I suspect that Ed has had a number of conversations with Big Brother about his feelings for Jade and he believes that Australia has gotten to see them. Unbeknownst to him, Big Brother has been running a one-sided relationship storyline so we haven't got to see what his thinking is on the whole relationship. Even the other night they showed Big Brother grilling Jade about her declaration of love for Ed, etc but notice how we never saw a one on one grilling of Ed by BB. Normally this would be one of the first things they'd show when someone is on the receiving end of that sort of declaration.

I will not post on any thread where that person is present. They pounced on me once for saying a simple thing about Jade that they didn't agree with...and of course their posse is always right there with their ugly posts to defend it. This person is new this year and has ruined my experience on the forums to the point of barely posting. God forbid if you go into their little 'domain' and say anything negative about Tim!! Haha... I wouldn't worry, hopefully they'll disappear next year.

I have had a few messages saying the same that they are new this year and have ruined the forum experience for them. I already dont get into anything Tim or Tahan related for that reason. Who would have though that not liking Drew would be their 'domain' also lol

Hello?! I am an Ed fan and so at least half of you hate me I can tell, but Jade seems really nice and Ed seems to really like her, but I think men find it much harder to declare their feelings. What makes me mad is all of the nastiness and shocking revolting and quite psycho thing people write about Ed and Jade. Please don't read it or agree with it. I started an Ed Appreciation thread and was abused. We see one hour out of 24 hours. I am sure Jade and Ed aren't used to nasty bitchy two faced people, so please don't think badly of Ed, he seems very natural and not a game player. Good luck to our favourites

Sometimes I actually like Ed, my issue with him is that he had this pre-planned strategy before going in to the house which is not doing him any favours and I think it has back fired on him. He is probably a really nice guy in real life.

I think its very weird that we never get to see Ed or even Jade until Fri in the diary room talking to BB.

I agree that he likes her more then we are being shown, I just cant forget the early on treatment. I dont think he intended to be bad towards her but he was and by doing that it gave people way to many tools and reasons to grind Jade into the dirt. He made her look bad and I think for us who think Jade is a great person its hard to forget that.

His brother's blog really didn't help him.
I couldn't warm to Ben either, I always had this question in the back of my mind whether he was genuine. It is similar with Ed.

We dont hate Ed (well I dont, just think he was a dog ), We want Jade to beat him but that's more to bring him down a level as he has always seen her as weak in the game. (well he did early on, like most of everyone else).
I do think he should be gone already, because I do think it was cheating to run the comp his family had going but I would say that regardless of who it was who did it, I just dont see it as fair.

As for Ed he seems like a good guy. I just dont like that his actions early on, regardless of how he is now has caused Jade so many issues. I think its also a lot on BB's shoulders as I do believe we are being shown only what they want us to see and suspect there is more to the story. You only have to watch a day of live feeds to know the truth in that.

Last time Ed was up I wanted him to stay (I didnt vote though) Because I wanted Jade to have some support in the house and in all honesty, I saw that their relationship was at a point and if he went I believed 100% it would not work outside the house, if he stayed I believed it would move forward a level, which it did and regardless of my reasons for not liking him its clear that she does and I was trying to trust her judgement as I believe she has been pretty switched on in regards to people and their intentions. She knew Drew and Tim could not be trusted but didnt want to believe it).

I still dont think it will go any where in the real world but I do believe he has feelings for her. You never know and we will have to wait and see I guess.

I agree and also we have never been shown his repeated requests to take Jade to the GOE.

Course we don't hate you Pookie. My problems with Ed have AWAYS been because his reluctance to discuss feelings have caused a lot of hateful comments for Jade. But as I read on another thread today - would Jade want to read horrible things said about someone she really likes? And the answer for me is no, no matter if he's going to hurt her or not. I don't think he's a bad person, I just wish sometimes he'd let go with his thoughts. You're right, there are a lot of hateful comments out there aimed at fans rather than housemates. But remember, that says more about them than you. Good luck to you too .

Like all of these people I don't hate you, Pookie, and I feel horrible that you got treated so poorly. I'm an odd duck in that I really believe that in a public forum, you should feel free to state your opinion but you should also make sure everyone else feels that same freedom. To me, that means when someone starts an appreciation thread for someone you don't like, you just stay away. Interestingly, I've come to tolerate Ed so I might have dropped in on your thread if the haters hadn't taken it over.

Someone said earlier that Tim is difficult to understand, but I find him one of the easiest to read. I actually find Ed the hardest, because he holds everything so close inside and his communication skills are lacking even when he does speak. But of the 4 intruders who have been in the house, 3 have come out talking about what a genuinely good guy Ed is so I have come to believe that maybe there is a reason that Jade loves him so.

She is gutless though, I've had a few run-ins with her over various things, when you give it back to her, I've found she shuts up pretty quickly.
