Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I think Tim was sincerely missing Jade, he had even stated as much to BB. This is from yesterday's daily wash.

"After confessing to Big Brother that Tim wanted to rekindle his friendship with Jade, the pair were next called to Santa's Workshop. Tim wasted no time cutting to the chase, and used the private time to explain to Jade the driver of the wedge that's positioned itself snuggly between them over the past few weeks. "Obviously Ed… I can't do it," Tim started."
 
You know what I find annoying though? Tim and Ed both put Jade in the middle to bitch out the other one, and yet when they have a chance to sort things out man to man with each other they are just all nicey nice. Both of them. Which leaves only Jade feeling bad.

It looks like they were playing nice but maybe they are keeping the juicy bits til Monday. Ed did say he couldn't wait to get in there with Tim. I would have liked to have seen more of what Jade got up to as Little Brother. I was hoping for an interrogation of Ed but it sounds like that may have happened in the spa earlier in the day.

Of course Tim told BB that, he's got a storyline to sell:

See Tim go to the Gold room and cry.
Tim in DR: Oh, Big Brother, I'm so sad and lonely. I miss my friends (that I wanted evicted, but ignore that please, while I look sooooo sad). If only Jade would leave that boring Ed and be my friend (even though last week I told her I didn't care if she left after I nominated her)

See Tim look sad in the DR after he fails to manipulate Jade.
See Tim rack up the sympathy votes.

I suspect they've been told to play nice. Everyone has had these scripted bits about their Christmas traditions. Heck, Tim was so into fake mode, he spoke longingly about playing in he snow at Christmas. Ed was like, where do you have Christmas, the United States?

But I do have to think Jade would not want Ed to get into with Tim over her issue. Also, in Ed's defense, he did, one time, tell Tim that Jade felt awful when he put her in the middle, so the has at least acknowledged it.
 
I don't mind Tim but I think he overestimates people's feelings sometimes. Not everyone is competing to win, some people like Jade are just taking things as they come. I wish he wasn't so calculating. On another note, I can't figure out why Drew really hates Jade. Is it the jealousy and disdain for JadEd? Or is his love for Tully making him bashful of everyone else? Is that why he's been such a bitch dobbing people in? Cause he's lost the insanity that is Tully?

l don't think she'd want that either, but what I wish is that they would consider her feelings instead of their own all the time. Btw the next video that is on the OS which is supposed to be a confrontation is a joke. Ed keeps interrupting and not completing a sentence and Tim is backpedalling and lying his arse off.

I think that Drew has a superiority complex sometimes - he'll roll his eyes and carry on if he doesn't agree . People say he's laid back but he's actually pretty moody.

I think this week is going to be one of the closest evictions this year, especially so close to the end and supporters of all nominees will go all out. I hope Jade manages to stay this week but it will be extremely close, the real vote always seems to be much tighter than betting or online polls indicate. I can see Tim out in front, followed by Drew, Ed and Jade all on close 20/20/20 type percentages.

It was an interesting convo because they were really talking to each other but not honestly, at least not on Tim's part.

Just in that snippet, Tim contradicted himself...nominations are a joke, but, oh, they aren't because he used his to try to get Jade to take out Boogs. Which was such a lame argument because shouldn't he have put up bulletproof Tahan if he really wanted Boogs gone?

And did Ed actually compare himself and Jade to Drew and Tully? And what the hell does he think Australia has seen? Does he not remember that he nominated Jade even after the whole putting her up fiasco?

But I just realized why Drew might hate Jade so much....Tim saved her and not Tully the week Tully went.

I suspect that Ed has had a number of conversations with Big Brother about his feelings for Jade and he believes that Australia has gotten to see them. Unbeknownst to him, Big Brother has been running a one-sided relationship storyline so we haven't got to see what his thinking is on the whole relationship. Even the other night they showed Big Brother grilling Jade about her declaration of love for Ed, etc but notice how we never saw a one on one grilling of Ed by BB. Normally this would be one of the first things they'd show when someone is on the receiving end of that sort of declaration.

Sorry you had to go through that last night Angel. That person is also one of the reason why I don't post in the live feed anymore, just really aggressive.
Best to just put them on your ignore list.

It was a lot more then just being rude, I know we all have our bad days but going by the private messages I have got its far from the first time this person made someone feel uncomfortable.

I have had a lovely day with my very calm and soothing family lol. Just catching up in here and on live feed and trying to enjoy what little we have left of BB this year.
Ooh and of course voting for Jade. <3 I may have thrown a bit more money on her last night to make myself feel better lol ;)

She is doing well trying not to get squash between those two big egos. Really the house is not big enough for those two. lol

Now I don't think she feels safe with anyone, including Ed, to a degree. When you are as guarded as Jade and you let people in, when they let you down, the walls go up even higher than before. I don't think she'll let those walls down in the last week enough to open herself up to the others, especially Tim and Drew. She may forgive, but she won't forget!

Hello?! I am an Ed fan and so at least half of you hate me I can tell, but Jade seems really nice and Ed seems to really like her, but I think men find it much harder to declare their feelings. What makes me mad is all of the nastiness and shocking revolting and quite psycho thing people write about Ed and Jade. Please don't read it or agree with it. I started an Ed Appreciation thread and was abused. We see one hour out of 24 hours. I am sure Jade and Ed aren't used to nasty bitchy two faced people, so please don't think badly of Ed, he seems very natural and not a game player. Good luck to our favourites

Course we don't hate you Pookie. My problems with Ed have AWAYS been because his reluctance to discuss feelings have caused a lot of hateful comments for Jade. But as I read on another thread today - would Jade want to read horrible things said about someone she really likes? And the answer for me is no, no matter if he's going to hurt her or not. I don't think he's a bad person, I just wish sometimes he'd let go with his thoughts. You're right, there are a lot of hateful comments out there aimed at fans rather than housemates. But remember, that says more about them than you. Good luck to you too .
