Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

What's everyone's thoughts re Wednesday? At the moment I'm about 70/30 thinking Jade will go.

I actually think she has a lot more fans than both Ed and Drew, but Ed's stupid family has got him saved so many times and Drew will probably pick up with anti-JadEd vote.

I hope she'll be ok , I see more action out in social media world so fingers crossed!

I think it's going to come down to the editing. If they show Tim crying in the gold room with sad music playing in the background, then Jade heartlessly rejecting his pleas for comfort, she's gonna be toast. Tim and Drew are going to control the narrative, so it's going to depend on which direction they go.

Interestingly, the OS seems to have shifted into more of a "poor jade" mode with respect to Ed and Jade so if they edit in that angle, it may help her as well.

I'm about 50/50 she'll go. It feels like a photo finish between her, Ed, and Drew.

Lol I feel EXACTLY the same. I am not expecting her to win (though it would be nice), and would prefer Tim winning over Tahan (who seem like the most probable final 2).

I guess I didn't see that he was trying to make her choose, I thought he was just wanting her not to spend ALL her time with Ed. Do you think that he was genuine at all, or do you feel it was all to get at Ed? Because that's why I was so mad at Ed , because I thought he was making it all about him instead of believing that Tim could genuinely miss Jade's company. Either way, Jade can't win in the eyes of people right now, she' s caught in the middle and that makes it her fault to a lotof people who already use any reason to have a go...

I'm not sure if he was being genuine, maybe? I think he does like Jade as a friend. But this is Tim we are talking about he will use anything or anyone to get what he wants. How many times has he used Jade in this game? He pretty much orchestrated that Jade and Jazmin argument to get Jazmin out. Remember when he told Heidi and then Mikkayla that we have to get Jade and Ed together? He has been targeting Ed since week 2, he couldn't stand it when all the HMs were swooning all over prince charming. He even cut Heidi off very brutally when she started hanging around with him. He didn't do it to Jade earlier on because he still needed to USE her to bring Ed down. He saw it very earlier on that Jade was the one thing that could make Ed look bad. As he said if he can't manipulate or use you anymore you are dead to him.

There is a reason why Jade is not that comfortable with him and Drew anymore, it is not because of Ed, it is because she can't trust them anymore. As she said she is wary that what she say will be spread out to the others and be twisted. As what happened with Mikkayla, she told Tim about Boog and went running straight to her blubbing about it. And the same goes with Drew with that Tahan incident. The final nail in the coffin was of course their nominations of her. She is very aware that Tim starts fights/arguments to get people out.

Jade never had problem spreading her time among her friends before, the sisters were in different group, Ed was in another and Drew and Tim were in the other side. She was friends with people that were in different groups. Not a problem until now, she obviously have pulled away from Drew and Tim now but I don't blame her. I wish she had done it earlier because they have been horrible to her for a lot longer. The thing is she actually still thinks that Drew is a nice person and I think she also likes Tim very much but just can't trust them in this game at the moment.

Ed, believe it or not, I think is just defending her. But of course he can't help himself having a dig at Tim for being a manipulator. People have a go at him for saying it but he is not wrong though. People tolerate Tim's manipulations because it is entertaining and it is not affecting them, but if they were in the house it will be a different story. I never have a go at Ed for highlighting that Tim is a manipulator because it is true and good for him for seeing it before everyone else in the house. I guess it takes one to know one because he has tried to manipulate others too.

Urgh. Remind me never to venture out of this thread again. I ventured out yesterday and wrote some things - trying to defend Jade. I pretty much got attacked.

I don't understand it. People are bitching about why Jade asked Tahan and Boog if they minded whether she slept in the purple room. Can't people see that she was just being considerate? They are still going on about how she has forced herself onto Ed, etc. Can't they come up with something new to talk about? Oh wait - of course they can't. Jade hasn't done anything else which can be criticised because she's a nice person.

As for Ed - I'm not much of a fan of his but I admit he's been growing on me the last few weeks. Probably because I can see that he's being a huge support for Jade. I hate arguing with people who say that Ed's only with Jade for the showmance. I personally believe that Ed DOES have some genuine feelings for Jade but he originally didn't want to get into a relationship due to his family telling him not to. I then think he decided to because he liked her and started using her a bit to get through the game a bit more. While I don't think he loves her, I do think he cares for her as though they were just starting a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. If that makes sense. People keep saying "um no. He's just with her so he can win. He has no feelings for her." While I think that he is partly with her to extend his stay in the house, I think he is also partly with her because he does like her. I wish people would accept others opinions instead of just shooting others down. Grrr.

FFS. I'm so sick of it. I really really want Jade to win now, just so I can shove it in all their faces. I don't think that'll happen because brunette bimbette Tahan has the financial backing of her boyfriend and her fans. Her fans seem to be the one giving us Jade fans the most trouble. I just don't understand why Tahan is so liked. She's such a nasty bitch. She's so inconsiderate of other people. She's the complete opposite of Jade.

I'm probably going to get attacked by Tahan fans now but EFF OFF AND GO BACK TO YOUR OWN THREAD!

I got burnt alive last night, in the Drew thread and in the housemate popularity thread. And I was not even defending Jade, I was defending myself. It was personally and totally unacceptable. You should go check it out, talk about over reacting. I am so over it seriously, just because we like Jade we dont have any right?? I stood my ground and stuck it out until my point was well and truly made and then cried like a blubbering mess lol. Guess we have our mean girls in real life too.

I have got a lot of private messages saying good on me for standing up to her, saying that she is the reason others dont post now and making sure I was ok so nice to see that there are still nice people around. (and not all were Jade fans )

I'm glad someone agrees about the sleeping arrangements. People just don't understand Jade - which is so horrible in itself because she's a lovely girl and there should be more of her in the world.

Tahan really is petty and immature. Hopefully they'll continue to show that side of her so that she loses a few votes. Her winning BB2013 would be the worst result in my opinion. I wouldn't want to send that message to Australia.

I agree, if anyone else wins I will live although I am PRAYING for a Jade or Tim win because even with Tim's bad points he still entertained the house and the others left are just... You know.

I just don't like the way Jade gets put in the middle as I think she's just trying to cope in there the best she can.

I just try not to take it personally, which to be honest is a lesson for me because I can be quite sensitive and shy away from confrontation irl plus, I always feel worse if I inadvertently make someone else feel bad too.

I'm just trying to chill with it all now to be honest, have my own opinions which l'll stick with and enjoy the last week or so of the show. Doesn't mean I won't debate points lol .

I am the same but I refuse to be bullied or intimidated and when it is personal then its hard not to take it personal. Last nights 'discussion' was not even about Jade, the attacks made were very personal. I hate having to defend myself like that. I felt bad enough about the misunderstanding and possibly offending someone. But mind you I went back and read every post and there was not serious talk about how gays are treated going on. There were just the two comments so then I was more pissed at the overreaction then upset that I had put my foot in my mouth.

People have a go at him for saying it but he is not wrong though. I dont get it to be honest. Everyone is going on about Jade being blind by Ed and seeing no evil and saying she is a weak person for letting someone treat her like that but yet how dare she not forget Tim right now??

I agree but I wont be willing to vote Ed as Jade needs every vote. We can dream though. Even if Ed goes this week I think the result will be the same, he is going to back her so Tim is taken down a notch and he si going to want Tahan to burn too the second he see's who she is behind their backs.

I will not post on any thread where that person is present. They pounced on me once for saying a simple thing about Jade that they didn't agree with...and of course their posse is always right there with their ugly posts to defend it. This person is new this year and has ruined my experience on the forums to the point of barely posting. God forbid if you go into their little 'domain' and say anything negative about Tim!! Haha... I wouldn't worry, hopefully they'll disappear next year.

Now if Jade and Ed really are bottom 2, then she is in huge trouble because the Lower family sure know how to pull off a save when needed and I can see Ed scraping through yet again. So I hope those that support Jade go hard this week because I think she needs it badly!

Beleive it or not, Jade is actually getting more support on FB this week compared to last where she was absolutely crucified.

In the parlour room yesterday, it was obvious that Jade has taken the approach of not talking to either Drew or Tim when they are alone. She knows they'll use whatever she says to mock her or or paint her in a bad light. Clever girl.

Also, I agree 100% with your views on Ed raising the issues of Tim being a calculated manipulator. Why shouldn't he?! I think i'd see them all as Tim's doormats if no one said a word about it.
