Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

You girls should read this. An interesting POV that I cmpletely agree with:

Ed on the other hand is resisting her sexual overtures which is something she's not used to. And the more ed resists, the more alluring and irresistible he becomes. Put plainly jade is exhibiting the mentality of a woman 'confident in her looks' (read: an entitled bimbette) who believes she can have any man she focuses he cross-hairs on and she won't back down until she has conquered her prey no matter how much she embarrasses herself in the process.

No homo but I'd argue that more women in society would find drew more 'desirable' than ed but due to jade's spoilt princess immature mindset, she has confined drew to the 'friends' zone.

Yeah I'm worried too.I've read that there's alot of movement in twitter for Ed with AFL fans.Jade could be in trouble if the betting odds are right.Why ,have you heard or read anything to come to that conclusion?

Hopefully he doesn't scrape through at Jade's expense. I would love it if Drew was evicted.

I know right!? It's actually hilarious. They're actually making the JadEd thing seem 10x more interesting than it actually is due to their fixation on it. Their obsession is only helping Jade and Ed though. They're essentially giving Jade and Ed the limelight. If the others don't do something else interesting soon they might fade a bit to the general public. I really thought Tim would be smart enough to figure that out. The JadEd relationship is very boring, but by fixating on it the others are making it seem more interesting than it really is which can only help Jade (and Ed) IMO.

Great post! The only part I'd question is that their relationship is boring. I think it was @Tra La who said it so eloquently... maybe they are dysfunctional but they are living out a scenario that happens every day out in the real world. There are thousands of girls out there who have been the 'Jade' in a relationship and will support her regardless of how 'desperate' the edits make her look.

The fact remains, Jade and Ed are both still there and the other HM's are definitely starting to be shown obsessing over them in jealous, nasty ways as a pack...the public might not like that much...I don't.

Really, as you said, their insults and name calling only serves to improve both Jade and Ed's chances of being in the final 3 or 4... After that, it's anyone's game.

We know that Jade has fallen pray to the supposed charms of Ed but she is not an idiot, she has made the mistake most people have. No matter how many people criticise her, they can't say they have never been in a situation where their affections have not been returned and have kept pestering that person for to yield. You are using Jade's looks to suggest she is used to getting what she wants, how wrong you are. It is the oldest story in the book and we all know about it, that does not make her stupid - it makes her human. The fact that you seem to think she is dumb suggests your lack of understanding and that isn't a good thing for you. That person sees her as a self-entitled arrogant bimbo ...yeah cause anyone that's ever fallen for someone is clearly a moron...seems legit. I'm not saying Ed is completely to blame either but I'm sure you've got a story for that too since you don't accept anyone's criticism. You're an absolutist and you're always gonna stick to your version no matter what people try to explain to you so people in here have just given up on you, I'm sorry to say.

By the way, I forgot to mention it before, but if any of you living overseas would like to vote I'm more than happy for you to transfer me money and ill do it for you and send you screen caps/receipts etc so you know I didn't use it to do and buy shoes or something lol.

Drew and Tim's obsession with Jade and Ed is becoming so boring. Watching the latest video reminded me of how Tim in week 2 was all about getting people to make sure that Jade and Ed get together. He saw Ed earlier on as one of his biggest treat and wanted to bring him down by using Jade. He has wanted Ed gone ages ago and it just hasn't quite worked out yet. He has been getting his way all this time except for this Ed thing and now he is going mental.

I think Tim and Drew are just as obsessed with Ed as people say Ed is with them.
In this situation I found it hard to argue though because they seemed more concerned for her.. they didn't seem to be laughing at her here unlike some of the updates we've seen in the last couple of days.
I may be wrong though - my opinion will probably change if I see them laughing at her again..

In the latest vid - "did you say that in the diary room? Oh good" (i.e. trying to make sure their Ed bashing gets to the public)
 
Everyone, the boys are getting the boot into Jade and Ed because of the $250K. This is just going to escalate. It's like last year all over again with Estelle.

If Ed goes this week Jade will be defenceless... or not... given Drew was so jealous. He might sidle up to her for some affection. He's so starved of that being a codependent. No doubt they will all tell her Ed doesn't want her. Ed on the outside might even rise to this and fall for Jade. I can't read him. He doesn't seem to believe anyone could love him. I think that's why he interrogated her. OR yeah he is prima facie what he is and not that into her...

Whatever happens in the last week they're all going to rip each other to shreds and Boog will fuck it for Tim. She really rattles him.

All I know at this point is that Jade is caught in the middle of it all and it feels like she's copping the flack of all their back and forth..
