Estelle appreacian thread (i can't spell)

It's a different game than Survivor though which is pretty much all about strategy as the contestants alone decide who goes and it's all forming alliances and deceiving people.

I think they revealed the faces just to get more votes from those behind, but the consequence was that Estelle did worse than I she many felt she deserved. I've never felt the voting proceedure on BB is really fair anyway. I'd rather it was only a limited number of votes per phone line or ISP address. Most of the money for the show must or should come from advertising and not through manipulating the audience.

He planted the seeds beautifully for his lackeys to promote him as a 'worthy' winner once they were evicted. The guy is an evil genius, I get that now more than ever.

She would have been known BB winner who got bullied and they never did anything about it. They wouldn't want that type of publicity. Whereas with Ben the first gay guy who won it, it never happened before. I still think there will be backlash about the bullying because he was the number one instigator.

You know they could have gotten her to win. If they had recap shows before voting closed.


It's Big Brother, maybe they wanted a gay man to win? I mean remember Terri, the totally rigged it for her because they wanted an older person to win.

Although I think in the end the way they had it structured, the final shows favored people like Ben, probably unintentionally. The show last night, totally favored him. Highlights in the house. What about all the low points?
 
Yay its over (in QLD), now lets never speak of this again. Except to say over and over till the end of days, Estelle you are amazing!

My 10yr old daughter looks up to you. She has seen so much bullying in her short school life, right now her best friend is getting bullied by some other girls in their group of friends, It's been going on for a while. Very similar to what's happened with you in the house, everyone always talking about her behind her back and my daughter stuck in the middle. She has tried to stop it so many times but they just dont stop. and has seen the similarities between what happened to you and her bestie. Now we find out that it looks like her BFF is going to be moving schools next year because of this :( I am terrified it will start on her next. I hope My daughter finds the strength like what you had in the house to get through this. I hope they make you a spokes person for Bullying.

I too am a strong believer in Karma and Karma is a bitch.

Estelle, You don't need that "popular group" in your life, leave them, they will only drag you down. Ryan will be a friend for life and so will Ray & George, stuff the others, you're better than them

Which goes into my personality assessments of him which I have explained in great detail elsewhere. So simply people saw him as one of their group. They then excused his behavior. After all, he was doing it to an outsider, who for being an outside simply deserved it.

I think Estelle is as charismatic but Ben had a group around him from early on, and Estelle's friends got evicted which left her more on her own.
 
Yep, Ben played the game hard and won. But we know who the true winner is, the person who comes out of their house with their integrity completely in tact, and that is Estelle! She was gracious and took everything in her stride right to the very end.

Yeah but in a different way.

Ben jumps in the pool in his jocks, screams and apparently people think he's amazing.

Actually the real shock is Layla getting more than Estelle. Even though I don't get how people can excuse ben's behavior, I can see the positive aspects. layla on the other hand... she added nothing for me this season.

I honestly have tears reading this.

How can people be so horrible, it's just so unjustified. I'm so touched to be able to know such a beautiful person and watching her and her resilient, strong and unique attitude, has made me have a good look at myself.

She has touched so many people's hearts and shown us that its ok to be a crazy, horse riding, lavender sniffing, hippy gangsta, as long as your true to yourself and not hurting anyone, screw what anyone else thinks.

I hope more kids realise this and stick up for your daughter and her friend :)

Layla's fans didn't have to vote like we had to for Estelle :( I still believe Estelle has lots more fans than Ben. It is just that we couldn't keep on voting :(

Amen! It was a blast :D

I loved coming on here to read all the Estelle support. Estelle made BB 2012 for me. I loved that she survived the most evictions <3 Gonna miss ya Stella.

I think Layla played the showmances very hard. While I think Estelle was more honest in saying she didn't see anything happening outside the house at all, Layla was always talking about them as being very serious things she was emotionally involved with. I didn't believe a word Layla said but that would have appealed to teens, particularly young girls. I respect Estelle more though for not pretending there was anything romantically serious and saying that they were simply friendships.

I cant wait either, I'll be coming around every couple of days to see if she's seen it yet. Thought I know she wont have time for a while with all the press interviews and family reunions
