Estelle appreacian thread (i can't spell)

How disappointing. On one hand, it's so upsetting that the public would voe for a person like Ben to win.

But then I remind myself:

HE NEVER WOULD HAVE WON IF THEY HADN'T SHOWN THE PERCENTAGES.

ESTELLE IS THE RIGHTFUL WINNER OF BIG BROTHER 2012 AND WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET THAT. :)

I'm certain Estelle had more fans over the course of the show. It's just the pricks continually put her up for eviction and kept their leader to just 2 eviction before they reached the final week.

It's a damn shame but that's what happens when you put in a toxic clique that has a numerical advantage over decent housemates.

Me, I can't find it in mysellf to be so generous of spirit to someone that showed such a lack of class to a young woman in front of the whole country. It depresses me that so many people voted for someone like that.
 
BB with a hand in our voting pocket, Estelle is the bait.

But a slick talker with a politically correct story wins. BB production team, I won't forget. I might watch next year, and I might not.
 
At least Estelle left the show with her integrity in tact.

She should be enormously proud of her time in the house. She has been quite an inspiration.

Ben might have won, but how many people did he step on to get there?

Thanks viennamoo, it was a great journey, we tried but one thing for sure Estelle has inspired me in so many ways.
To me Estelle is a winner, she has made so many friends here, and I think she may have touched many people in some special way.
Give her my love and respect. xxx
 
My sympathy guys, ya'll did absolute fantastic job to get her to the final. I'm glad she's surrounded with people who love and appreciate her tonight.
 
I nearly cried when Sonia read out Estelle's name she looked so upset. So gracious and sweet on stage, a lovely lady. Most saved HM I can remember in BB history or at least up there at the top. Well deserved, too. Good luck to Estelle for the future I wish her all the best.
 
Honestly, Estelle is the winner, as I said before, I can already imagine the post eviction press. The media will appreciate Estelle, she will get the most out of all of this :)

I guess Australia has decided that it doesn't matter if you treat everyone like shit as long as you make people laugh in the process.

What did Ben say on stage? Wasn't it something along the lines of "you can be a good person or a bad person, but even if you are [a bad person] people might like you anyway"? His victory will just vindicate this mindset and prove to him that he doesn't need to modify anything.
 
hey everything happens for a reason, she might lead a better life now than she would've if she had won.
I know alot of rich people who are sadder than non rich.
its her integrity and honesty that will give her more opportunities in life.

You would rather lose than to win in wrong way

And that it's OK to undermine and ridicule vulnerable people. Great example for the next generation!

Most of those who sucked up to Ben did get evicted before Estelle so the only people they actually helped win was Ben.

And I think if the faces hadn't been revealed Estelle would at least have got second place.

Ben seems to have won on the ticket of being a gay winner more than anything. I think he had some entertanment value, but so did Estelle. And I don't think Layla really offered much.
 
Congratulations Ben on your historic win. Hope you find success in all your future endeavors.

Estelle you will always be a Superstar. The Par excellence, creme de la creme, raison d'etre, even the fanciest of French words are not enough to describe what an amazing person you are. Your sense of humor, your positive attitude, your fun-loving personality will be dearly missed.

Finally I am going to have some peace of mind. Haha, just kidding Estelle. I am sure that you will spread success wherever you go. And I wish you all the best. Thanks for the ride, I enjoyed it so much.

You are probably right. The runner ups in reality tv shows almost always fare better than the winners.

The money, while a nice amount doesn't guarantee future happiness or success at all.
 
I think I must have spent between $250 and $300 saving Estelle. And I've probably hastened the onset of arthritis by at least a year from all the texting on my old mobile. No regrets though. (I made four times that amount of cash out of the season though, I'm not crazy I swear it!).
