Last movie you saw

For some reason, I preferred the first. Probably because the second time, they initially had trouble with the 3d, so from then on I seemed to be seeing every little fault in the 3d instead of enjoying the vision.

But I also think the 3d is more amazing the first time.

One thing though, you do pick up on some amusing quirks the second time, like the General and his cup of coffee, for example. :D

But him and his cup of tea was on the trailer and to me one of those moments that made me think, camerons still got it.

Something I picked up the second time I didn't the first was that Jake Sullys legs as a human were all atrophied. Really nicely done subtle special effect there.

GoldenBerry...my 17 yr old nephew is obsessed with that movie...ive lost count as to how many times he's seen it, but its atleast 14 times :/ ATLEAST if not maybe 20...once he saw it 3 times in a day :/
he also plays the game on xbox and loves it

I finally saw District 9 on DVD, I was put off by it because I heard it was part sci-fi (my least fav genre) and documentary (my 2nd least fav genre) but wow! why did I wait so long? It was awesome!

I have never gotten so involved in a film before, I got really angry at the main guy and I was rooting for the prawn! How did they make me feel sympathy for an alien? lol

It's a great movie for sure.......

I suspect in reality if this happened that's exactly the situation we'd be in with the aliens in virtual prison camps and humans trying to exploit them.

That the prawns were not that bright didn't help the poor buggers.

There is a sequel planned.

"The Comedy Of Terrors"
alil cheesy but Vincent Price, Peter Lorre + Boris Karloff = awesome

also watched "Arsenic and Old Lace"
i <3 old movies and this is one of my absolute faves..
Cary Grant *swoon* i love watching his descent into insanity in this movie
anyway blah blah blah

From Paris With Love

It was a competant action film, nothing great, but then there was little bad at all. Lacked any really stand out or interesting action set pieces, but it was entertaining and interesting enough. So I'd recommend it to action fans. In a way it's more traditional, less over the top and silly than the standard Luc Besson produced action film. It's from the guy that did Taken, but it doesn't have anywhere near the cool "it" factor that film did.

Law Abiding Citizen

This was a pretty good film. Very Entertaining the whole way through. Don't know what to say with out giving too much away, but yeah I liked it!

I want to see Law Abiding Citizen....... Has an interesting look to it.... I just hope the twist and resolution isn't to obvious...... Movies where I can out guess the plot disappoint me a lot. But that seems to be most movies "shrug"

I saw "Shutter Island" yesterday and was MAJORLY dissapointed! Been waiting for about 6 months to see this (yes, the previews have been showing for this long) and it was a disaster! The more I think about it, the more I dislike it!

That's funny because the ads make it look really awesome.

Having said that a couple of years go when that movie with Keira Knightley came out "Attonement" and that was really haunting.. And a movie that didn't have me guessing in advance the plot, though the side plot with Briony did make me worry for her.

Meh, Scorsese. I hear he has done some good films, but I just don't really care about the scenarios he chooses.

I know, they always make the previews look great in all movies - Do you know that I've realised in lots of movies they actually film different scenes for previews that AREN'T actually in the movies! I'm sure everyone knows that already LOL

What a shame, I was looking forward to that movie as well.

Then again we have disagreed on movies before, I'll still see it sometime.
