Why do people like mikkayla!?!?!?

I delurked and finally created an account just to defend all the only children out there. I do not want to get lumped in with the likes of Mikkayla and I actually think she doesn't act like an only child at all. She is much too loud. Actually, of all the housemates Jade seems the most likely to be an only child in her personality.

I was just about to say the same thing halfway through reading your post!
Jade acts a bit like one, lost and lonely at times.
Mikkayla acts like she's from a large family that never had enough food or attention to go around.

She has been nothing but supportive of her friends in the house and if she is critical of someone it doesn't stop her from sitting down with them and helping them or giving them advise, like with Ben and Tim. Maybe you are thinking of Tahan? She was the one critical of Jade and the bracelet and the fact that Ed later put his shorts under Jades pillow might mean that Tahan was wrong! Shocker!

I like watching her (can't say I'd necessarily like her as a person) because I laugh at her bitchy comments, tone of voice & facial expressions...in the same way that I laugh at Tim/Tahan/Drew's comments etc, because all the people in that house that bitch, give as good as they get. I hated Ben/Stacy/Michael's disgusting behaviour last year, because they did NOT 'give as good they got'...all the vitriol was one-way towards whichever victim they collectively had in their sights at the time (eg Ryan/Ray/Bradley/Ava/Estelle/Sam). But most of this year's crew, most notably Mikkayla & Tahan, love giving it to/about each other, and I find it entertaining.

The point is that Justynn thought he knew more than anyone and the evidence points to the fact that Mikkayla new more than Justynn.

If she lied to Ed I could see what the problem is, but I see this as just letting Ed know the truth, this could save time in their relationship. Sometimes it's a good idea to do things like this to clear the air.

I have liked her for along time (not everything about her but on balance I liked her more than not), the tide is swaying now tho and I'm starting to get irritated by her. Still a lot to like but some aspects are wearing thin. I can imagine would be hard to live with in the house - awesome cooking skills aside

Im just saying it has nothing to do with Tahan and not complaining. Just saying what happened.

Seriously, go read up about a Type 1 diabetic, they have to know about food and eating right. Mikkayla saying she knows 10x more about food than Justynn is laughable.

We are not complaining about their relationship, we're talking about Mikkayla's actions. Theres a difference!
She tells Ed her conversation with Jade but not her conversation with Ed to Jade.
It throws mixed message at Jade because no one is giving her a hint apart from Ed.

Mikk told Jade that the bracelet was a good idea. Than told Ed that she said not to put the bracelet under the pillow, plus she said that Jade was crying, she just lied.
