Where Are They Now?

Interesting - Chrissie, Blair and Camilla get great media jobs, Tim still has a high profile and has stuff going on...

Perhaps it's better to come second in BB.

:D Also, don't forget, Zach! He has a spot on the 'The Nightcap' which will be commencing soon on 7HD.

It happens with Idol as well. The runners up there get better record sales than the winners!
I reckon that the public vote at the end for the one that needs the extra push and believe that the second one will make it anyway without the profile of winning.

It's like a sympathy win!

Ssshhhh don't say that to the Natalie fans :)

I think that can only be said for the second series.

Series 1 - Guy wins. Guy and Shannon successful in their own rights. Guy's latest album has just done double platinum, and sold more in a shorter amount of time than Shannon's latest, which has been out longer.
Series 2 - Casey wins. Does alright, though when Anthony releases he does get better sales. Could be partly down to the teeny factor though, with him being a male. Casey has just released a new EP. Who knows what will happen for Anthony's next release, with probably dropping quite a young girlie fans (with coming out), but also gaining another audience due to it.
Series 3 - Kate wins. She releases the winner album. Emily releases nothing. Then they team up with some other females who went through Idol to form the Young Divas. So just because of the fact that at least Kate has had a solo release through being the winner, I'd think she's the most successful there so far.
Series 4 - Damien wins. Gets quite good sales. Turns the series around again for the winner, after girls having won the last few years, and showing that there can be successful winners again just like it was with Guy. Jessica releases a runner-up journey album (which does so so), and then joins Young Divas replacing Ricki Lee.
Series 5 - Natalie wins. Has done alright so far. Too early to say anything yet, as Matt hasn't released anything. Will she be cursed as she's another female winner? Or will she be the first female to turn it around as just like Guy and Damien they were musos before doing Idol.

I don't think it is necessarily bad to win Idol. Stuff happened with the the second series, and then because of that some people seem to think the runner up does a lot better all the time, but when you look over it all like the above you can see it isn't really the case overall.

Bringing this back to Big Brother though, whilst I like Chrissie I did so want Reggie to win (was hilarious) and when she does show herself (on the times she's been on Uplate) she's still funny as ever.

Also, Aleisha is great too. Funny and bubbly! :) Really bummed we haven't been seeing more of her.

Why does Emma have to be a skank in every picture? It's really off putting.

I would love to see Aleisha back on our screens too - BB should find a slot for her in next years show, maybe explaining or "running thru" some of the games in FNL, that could be a laugh, no need for ninja's as long as she doesn't communicate with the hm's. She has a great personality and a sweet innocence about her - can't help but like her.

Krystal's 'package' for Australian troops

Krystal's 'package' for Australian troops

ZOO Weekly will give our troops in East Timor a lift next week when the mag flies its resident pin-up Krystal in to entertain them.

But the pneumatic lass told Nova 96.9's brekkie boys Merrick and Rosso yesterday she wouldn't pack a camouflage bikini in her luggage - so we're not sure what her entertainment "package" will include.

Apparently Krystal likes to "leave something to the imagination". Rather strange for a gal paid to wear next to nothing in lad's mags every week.

Ah, Krystal Foreskin..... Girl with minimal talent but large assets

I'm imagining a Cher "If I Could Turn Back Time" video clip reinactment.

*shudders*

Tim was on Today Tonight last night, talking about people who lived in drains or something - does anyone else have some more info, I just heard from a friend.

That is so false the way it's being promoted.... I think it runs today in SA
and it's being promoted as if "weird people are living in our drains" and
that is their home.....

In actual fact they don't live there but go there as a test of skills isn't
it? I thought it was similar to people who go splunking, or cave diving.

what state was it?

This story was on TT in Brisbane last night. The story started off being about the 2 persons who died in the Sydney storm drains last weekend. Then it talked about the 'secret' groups that hide or travel in the drains. Tim was interviewed and he said that he had spoke with these 'secret' groups.

My cousin served kate (2007 first evictee) at the post office. She seemed really happy to speak to a stranger that recognised her. My cousin said she was really nice and chatted for a bit but she still wore that beetlejuice eyeshadow and looked as if she had put on 25 kg. The only reason she recognised her was because she had to show proof of identity to redirect her mail.

Imogen Bailey joins Neighbours cast

RAMSAY St is fast becoming one of the most sought-after addresses for Australia's male population, with word that bikini babe Imogen Bailey has joined Erin McNaught in sexing up the cast of Neighbours.

January 28, 2008 12:00am

Although Bailey fans may find it tricky to recognise the popular pin-up with her clothes on, the vixen addition is the producers' latest attempt to administer a mouth-to-mouth ratings revival to the drowning Channel 10 soap.

After a much-publicised relaunch last year, ratings failed to improve, settling at a nightly average of 800,000 in comparison to rival soap Home and Away's impressive 1.4 million.

Ten executives say increasing Neighbours' ratings will be a slow process, but Bailey's character, Nicola West, is expected to at least send hearts off and racing.

The lads' mag favourite may have other ideas, however, saying she is keen to strip back her saucy style in favour of becoming a credible actress. Hmmm.

"I had a sexy image, and I'm proud of my modelling and what I was able to do with my image," Bailey says.

"But I'm getting to a point in my life where I'm trying to shed that (image) a little bit."

Bailey, who has appeared on Celebrity Survivor and Celebrity Big Brother, reported for work on the Neighbours set last week but won't be seen on screen until May.

There has been nothing sexy about her settling-in period on Ramsay St: the diminutive blonde had 14 scenes to shoot on her first day.

"It's a great way to learn," she says. "You don't have time to get nervous."
