Where Are They Now?

Being called a horrible person ain't in the same league as calling someone a *s* Ducky. lol. Fan forum or not, she's still a member and is protected from abuse the same way you are.

How dare you make assumptions about something you KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. Dont talk about people or their personal business when you dont have a clue. Billy hasnt EVER touched Aleisha's money, in fact she has it all tied up in accounts so it cant be used, in fact Aleisha hasnt even really spent it yet, and its 2 years since she won it.

Billy is lovely and you're totally FFFF for making these claims.

Surviving a relationship out of BB is hard. Its hardly glamourous - you live day in day out with that person so the sparkle can wear off. You really think people stay in these relationships to get invites to parties? Are you really as silly as you sound? Give me a break.

Susannah.

Hey Susannah I love Aleisha and wish her the best, I also love you babe don't let the arseholes in this forum get you down you rock, I was at the launch of BB7 and saw you didn't make the house first up and voted for you. :)

Take a chill pill wind bag... this is a fan forum we are allowed to make assumptions and say negative things you are going to have to accept the fact that not everyone knows your friends the way you do or likes them for that matter. GET OVER IT OR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Well I for one would like Susannah to keep commenting on BBBA .Susannah was good enough to get on here last year (and Nick) to talk about BB08. I do not know anything about Susannah except that she seems like a nice person and is loyal to her friends.

^^^^ What she said.

Yes, having real ex-housemates here is a good thing and something which really enhances the quality of these forums. We should be encouraging them, and in order to do that some people must accept the fact that they can no longer voice their opinions regarding some housemates with as much vehemence as they were previously able to, now that these housemates are members of this forum.

This is no great loss, seeing as most of the opinions which could be considered in breach of the forum rules when voiced in such a context are not really worth voicing in the first place. Simply put, such extreme views are probably more concerned with drawing attention to the poster who supposedly holds such views than they are with contributing anything valid or insightful.

Quite frankly, I can't think of anything Susannah ever did in the house that would warrant anyone hating her so much that they would really want to abuse her by calling her a slut. Therefore, I think this sort of behaviour is just a hangover from the times when certain posters resorted to insulting housemates simply for the take of appearing more extreme than anyone else.

Pull your head in. If someone was in here calling you derogatory names you'd be the first one jumping on the flag post button.
Post by the rules or GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Exclusive: Reggie's bittersweet baby newsThursday, April 2, 2009
By Monique Butterworth

Pictures: Paul Broben. Hair and Make-up: Christian Alexander.

The star we fell in love with on Big Brother is thrilled she's pregnant against the odds, but in a tragic turn, her vision is fading fast.

As their little two-year-old daughter Mia excitedly blows out the candles on her Wiggles birthday cake, Regina "Reggie" Sorensen and husband Dale have double reason to celebrate.

The popular 2003 Big Brother winner is pregnant with their second baby, a miracle the couple feared may never happen after Reggie suffered a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy just over 12 months ago.

But their smiles are bittersweet, as the baby who's bringing the family such joy appears to be making Reggie's remaining vision deteriorate rapidly. "I feel my eyes are getting worse. I'm not sure if it's the hormones but they're getting worse," says Reggie, who suffers from retinitis pigmentosa.

Now legally blind with the degenerative eye condition, she can no longer drive a car, has no peripheral vision and is completely blind at night.

"I do worry more and more about how I am going to be in the future," she says. "I'm beginning to think I'm definitely going to be blind sooner than I think."

It's a fear shared by Reggie's devoted husband Dale.

"After the pregnancy with Mia, Regina's eyes got worse, and now it's happening again," reveals the 36-year-old fire-fighter. "During the day, Regina can't see Mia sometimes when she's standing right next to her. She says 'Where's Mia gone?' And she'll be literally right next to her. And it's a little bit of a worry what it'll be like for her carrying the new baby around because Mia leaves toys everywhere and Regina is constantly tripping over them."

For the full story, see this week's Woman's Day (on sale April 6).

as i said before, i wasnt calling her that name as a personal insult, I was making a point about assumptions and opinions on a fan forum.

thanks for posting that - so sad.. I love Reggie and it is unfair what is happening to her. I hope her eyesight hangs in there to at least see her new baby.

didnt Ben who won the first BB have a similar condition? i vaguely remember him talking about this on the show?

I read an article about Reggie and Mia in a mag at work..(can't remember which one) it said that she had been hoping to go to England to be invloved in some sort of Gene therapy but unfortuantly they had not been able to isolate the Gene causing the retinitis pigmentosa so at this stage the therapy was not a possiblility for Reggie :(

It also said that because they could not isolate the gene they could not tell whether or not the disease could be inherited so didn't know if little Mia would get it.

I have a good friend with RP and the impact it has had on his family is awful...all three of his brothers have it and one of his two sisters....a couple of the brothers are angry at the parents..not sure why but I guess if you have such a debilitating disease you would feel pretty angry and want someone to blame

Poor Reggie her RP sound really bad, she is young for her site to be that bad.

Yeah, I do remember him talking about going blind but I can't remember if it was RP or something else.

PS. Nice to see you back Susannah.

We had Nathan come to the school where I work, and my son attends today. He was there doing a religious Easter Seminar for the kids. I didn't get to see it, but my son's reply to me asking "What was it like?" was "It was ok, they just talked about God and Easter n stuff". LOL He did sit in the staffroom with us at recess and lunch with his group, but I didn't talk to him. It took me a while to work out where I knew him from. Anyway that is my brush with fame, if you can call it that. LOL
