Where Are They Now?

I have never found Mike's infantile humour funny, the sooner he fades away the better

Interesting column. I agree with a lot of what she wrote.

Remember the first few Survivors? The first Biggest Loser? Think Big Brother before it became the playground of Gen Y Himbos and Barbie dolls, cast less for their back stories and more for their boobs.

Reality TV was once inhabited by people who knew nothing of the format and whose motivation was winning the prize, not winning notoriety.

Fans became contestants, genuine people became contrived and phrases such as "flying under the radar", meaning being honest rather than a disingenuous show-off, entered our vernacular.

As did "being true to myself", which became justification for all manner of nastiness, aggression, bigotry...

When reality TV was invaded with fame-thirsty wax figures, it meant a changed game because no one wants to watch a lie. In desperation, producers began manipulating scenarios with supposed earth-shattering twists hoping to keep our interest. Instead, it only padded out episodes with over-hyped nothingness and blatant product placement.

As an audience, we smell BS and a betrayal of what reality TV has always claimed to be. Bring back the real in Reality and we'll probably watch again.

This is a pic of Emma recently... love the hair colour!

Rebecca Dent, of Marty & Bec fame on HotFM 103.5, was a contestant on the seventh season of Big Brother. She became the ninth housemate to be evicted on Day 50 by public voting with 4 per cent of the merged vote in a double eviction and moved to Cairns to take on the radio role in 2008.

And 2005 Big Brother winner Greg Mathew has reportedly been living in Cairns for at least a year now.

Bogan Michelle from BB was on the channel 7 news tonight. Her step-father is in hospital in a critical condition from a road rage attack.

To see it go to Yahoo 7 news and WA news videos - road rage attack...

Aprodite and Joanne from season 3 are in a terrible movie which struggled to get a release for over 3 years:

"Going Down Under" - see if you can make it all the way to the end.

Did you mean to the end of Part 1, or all the way through to Part 9?

lolololol Hyland Kavalee - never knew that was his real name

His name's Ed - his dad's last name is Hyland and his mum's is Kavalee (or vice versa I'm not sure).

after all if you were in a movie like that one would you really use your real name

Last night late I was watching Hot Auctions with Michael Caton, I swear to god that this guy who was bidding for a flat/apartment in Sydney was Greg from BB (half of the Logans) and the guys name was Greg.

Greg and his mate Nathan were wanting to buy the apartment, Greg was at the auction but his mate Nathan was busy at work in a pub running "snail/slug races". Anyways they didn't win the auction I think the apartment sold for $580,000 plus.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was on that show once. I remember there being a discussion about it before on here.
