Chrissie Swan in the Mix after radio shake-up

GOLD Logie nominee Chrissie Swan is swapping TV for radio, having landed the role as host of Mix FM's breakfast show.
Swan will take over from Brigitte Duclos and Anthony Lehmann, starting on air on February 6, with her co-host still to be announced.
In a major shake-up for the ARN-owned stations, Duclos and Lehmann will shift into the Gold FM breakfast shift, replacing Peter "Grubby" Stubbs and Diane "Dee Dee" Dunleavy.
Swan now hosts Mix's 3pm Pick Up show.
Duclos and Lehmann will stay true to Gold's on-air promise of good times and great classic hits.
Australian Radio Network national content director Duncan Campbell said: "These are obviously major changes for ARN. I've made no secret of the fact that we are determined to be more competitive in Melbourne next year and we need breakfast to work on both stations for that to happen.
"Breakfast is the most important day-part for any radio station, and we have decided to launch with our strongest breakfast proposition yet. It's an exciting time for ARN as we move into 2012; we believe the new appointments will offer a fresh level of creativity and energy to breakfast as we face a very challenging year ahead.''
In the final radio ratings survey for the year, released this week, Gold breakfast rated 5.3 compared with 4.7 for Mix.
Duclos said she and Lehmann were aware of the challenge of stepping into the Gold role held for the past 12 years by Stubbs and Dunleavy.
"They are very big shoes to fill but we are super excited to be bringing our lives to Gold 104.3,'' said Duclos.
"I'm looking forward to again waking up Melbourne with Lehmo - but this time on Gold whilst listening to most of my favourite songs.''
Duclos and Lehmann will start on air with Gold on January 16.
