Where are the males intruders gone????

The White Room their hair was falling out, women stopped menstruating. They had slow nervous breakdowns. It was totally a human rights issue and constituted torture.

Was the guys name Harrison ?? I thought he was hot & not impressed when BB gave the HM's the choice who to pick & it wasn't him

Actually you could almost say both :) I read the blurb around the video but didn't watch it... I have now with your link & hahaha how funny...

I don't know which is better, not getting any lollies or calling the police on his squatter :)
Calling the cops on his squatter. Hands down.

Hahahahahaha!! Yeah!! That's the winner. Both Tahan and Tim nearly pee themselves laughing.

Does Ben ever laugh? I think I've only see him squeal with delight or cry or just tell a story or whatever with a straight face.

He tends to make the sound of laughing, not actually laughing. Like when he was evicted and BB talked to him, he bent over and made a sound, lol. I know what I mean, but I am not sure I know how to explain it :)

Hahahahaaaa.... Ben and his IKEA kitchen-making squatter!! Lol.... WHO would do that? Seriously, so funny how he said he had to ring the police...like Cable Guy!!

It's not that much of a bitch if you know what you're doing - and he doesn't look at all underweight to me. I'm curious why we never see him test or inject though.

I am seriously wondering if the diabetes is a lie from Justynn. BB would not allow him to go without appropriate food and risk him becoming ill. Unless he has been secretly eating in the diary room. Although he said he was not used to dealing with lack of food, so that doesn't add up.

Yeah I totally get it. He's a strange one. :)

I thought that also, perhaps he was trying to muster up some sympathy from the HM's &/or viewers ??

I really try not to get all nursey on the forums, but I do have to say this. While Type 1 diabetes is a bitch, it can be controlled for the most part by regular checks of blood sugar, as well as insulin injections if needed (would be taking place in the diary room).

There is a small percentage of Type 1 diabetics who have very unstable blood sugar levels, despite best efforts to keep them steady, and this can sometimes result in DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis). DKA is a very serious illness and can result in death if not treated immediately and appropriately.

If Jhustyyyynnnn is a Type 1 Diabetic (and really, who would want to lie about that?) he would most likely be the stable type. If not, it would be foolish of him to enter a place like the big brother house, where he isn't in control of his dietary intake. I really think that would be what he is referring to when he says he's not used to dealing with a lack of food.

From what I have seen of the footage so far, he doesn't look underweight, and he doesn't look unhealthy (except for the shocking facial hair/David Lee Roth hairdo).

I was wondering about him also as he has Diabetes type 1 as it said on his profile which I would think he is insulin dependant and he would have to watch what he eats also

There are no dietary restrictions for type 1 diabetics, including any need to eat at particular times. We're just like "normal" people, as long as we do regular blood tests and take regular insulin and know what we're doing (or are in denial and just do whatever). It IS possible (but improbable) that he had some kind of diabetic incident (either high or low blood glucose), but these are *usually* quickly (within 6 hours) resolved,

Popcorn, come get it while it hots, hot buttered popcorn. yummy.

NurseNikki, I don't work Production Team, I don't work for Southern Star, channel 9 or DreamWorld. I am the go to for inside BIg Brother information.

There have been many rumours of my identity, but I am still to be found out. meandyou could be onto something.

Maybe we should have a Goon hunt. If you attend an Eviction you could go around asking people are you Goon ?
No, don't do that, my identity will never be found out.

Ha ha like you were going to come out and say yes I work production, I do story editing or something like that. Lol

Not wanting to detract from you NurseNikki, but that's a very simplistic view of T1DM.

I've been in DKA numerous times, and only ever been hospitalised 3 times in 44 years. BUT have also experienced temporary brain damage (lost control of my left leg for 48 hours) due to hypoglycaemia.

It's a stupidly complex disease, and I am considered "labile" (brittle) - but I know scores of type 1s, of whom I might call half a dozen "stable" There's no such thing, in my experience.

Wrong. Yes, insulin dependant (pretty much one of the definitions of T1DM)... but only needs to watch diet to ensure accurate insulin dosage.

so basically everything you say is completely untrustworthy.

either you are telling the truth and really have no significant access and therefore we shouldn't believe you as a source

...or you are lying now and really work for one of those organisations (even as a subcontractor) and so can be labelled a liar in general

I suppose it makes no difference since you are always vague and your hints are often laughably misleading - but you're always a cheerleader.

so if you're not a shill, you're a damn fine troll. bravo.

Apologies for any offence caused Tori. I deliberately simplified it so as not to confuse any non medicos. Apologies if it came across any other way to you.

The whole point of my post was .... Well I'm not even sure now. I just started feeling like Type 1 diabetes wasn't being taken seriously.

As an ICU nurse, I've cared for more DKA patients than I can count! It would irritate me to no end if Justynn was using it as a ploy!

No offence taken, Nikki, honest! I'm a pretty tough old broad ;)

But it's obviously a pet passion of mine that mistakes/errors/misunderstandings re T1DM get sorted if I can do so - and your info for the most part was accurate - which is rare and welcome! So thank you :)

Can we be friends? The one and only time I was admitted to hospital to ICU with DKA, the nurses were (and remain) my heroes. They took awesome care of me.
