What's for dinner?

Is that the contraption that they advertise in the TV? If so, you have sold me!

I got mine from the Reject Shop. It was $10 & it's like a big pencil sharpener. The only thing that annoys me is the end gets all pointy... like a sharpened pencil... so I have to cut it off & slice that bit myself. Like totally first world problems. It's really tasty though & I have substituted zoodles for pasta in the spag bol. It's delish & satisfying & you don't get that carb coma after eating pasta.

I am a mad pasta fan though.

I must go search now in Reject Shops LOL .......

Not dinner-related, but I actually got a nice pair of headphones at the Reject Shop the other day for $8. Probably not top of the range quality but certainly good enough to exercise with. I like old style headphones, not ear plugs that fall out.

I prefer ear plugs and as I wear an over the head headset at work, I prefer not having the enclosed feeling when I'm not at work. I don't buy expensive ones as I'm always losing or breaking them too. Here's a thought, if I had headphones I wouldn't do that to them as easily. Hm.
Dinner last night was a little roast lamb. Good value at $7.50 as I get a cold meal of lamb tonight. Started trying to cut down on carbs. Bread and potatoes first so no roast spuds with the meat. Pumpkin, onion, parsnip, carrot and peas though. Carrot and peas shall go too.

I'm deaf in one ear, and when I wear a plug in one ear it generally falls out due to the imbalance. I've tried wearing both plugs but it doesn't feel right. I've also been advised that with only one functional ear, sticking anything in it is not a great idea. So that's why I prefer full headphones.

I occasionally suffer from vertigo so I get the imbalance aspect. I had earphones that had a non functioning side and that really threw me when I forgot and wore them, however I had to put both in as it was worse otherwise. At work it's different as I know there's only one listening side and my brain adjusts accordingly. The anomalies of the human body, they never cease to amaze.

They're probably still better than 'Beats by Dre'

I too am trying to cut down on my carbs but it's just sooooo hard (that's what she said.....)

I use ear plug style headphones. Not because I particular want to. I find the sound quality a lot better with over the ear ones, but as I wear glasses I end up with a massively sore head because the headphones crush the side of my glasses into the side of my head. Yay for being a Magoo!
