I'm much quiter in real life.
you obviously have a lot in your mind you want to say (based on how much you do talk on here). Do you sometimes wish in real life you were on a computer instead so you could say it?

Though even if I did have that computer scenario in real life I would talk about different things than I do on here (less inigo and tina).

I read a biography on Reagan. He really was an awful president and this book proved it. Short on detail big on ideals. Righteous zealotry. Ignorant arrogance. Iran-contra scandal was partly his fault whichever way you looked at it (either he was complicit in it or his hands off management style was a reflection of his poor leadership).

Still it was fascinating to read about his talks with Gorbachev and how the two leaders managed to slowly start working something out. Especially with Reagans belligerent anti-communist tone at the start of his term.

who do you think has been the best american president from what you know? I have to admit my knowledge on many of them is limited so just curious as you have read a bit on some.

Sometimes my mind had 5000 thoughts a minute, other times just 5 thoughts a minute going through my brain.
i think I would like to be able to write my responses more in the real world too. The computer allows me the time to get those 5000 thoughts I am having and somehow get them to make coherent sense. sometimes when I speak out loud I don't feel like I get to do that quite as well.

Problem is that the truly great presidents are from eons ago yet their views and some of their actions are not aligned with today's society.

It's hard to rate more recent presidents because it's too soon since they left office.

It's interesting, because in theory writing out your responses should give you time to formulate and plan out your responses, and maybe edit out a few, in a way you don't always get a chance to in real life when someone wants an immediate response. Reepbot seems not to apply that process, so his posts on here seem more stream-of-consciousness "say anything on my mind".

The ten minute edit limit time is really a godsend for me because i can be very indecisive and having that small window to change my words enables me not to re-edit my posts a hundred times.
Is it a cathartic thing to do.... just write whatever and not second guess or edit? Does it feel different than how you feel you are in the real world?

AUS - Keating, A True Believer,,,,,,,,a real leader and reformer

UK - First Labor leader elected,
The Right Honourable
Ramsay MacDonald

MP for Aberavon
(1866–1937)

But really UK politics are weird historically, House of Lords being a very odd concept for us

And from my limited knowledge of UK political history, well CHURCHILL seems to stand head and shoulders above the rest

USA - Jimmy Carter; and Clinton, ignoring all of his faults he was a very effective President- with the highest IQ
Kennedy gave people a youthful hopefulness but he wasn't great at all, ROBERT KENNEDY is the best President they never got unfortunately,he had heart and soul and great plans to make America kinder.

It feels like I'm walking down a hill and I could get to the bottom without anything happening or I could trip over a rock hidden in the long grass.
