What Was Your Favourite BBAU Season?

I can't vote because I don't have a favourite. I have a top 3. They are 3,5,10

Season 3 because if the 2 houses twist and the first female winner ( I actually wanted Chrissy to win, but whatever)
Season 5 Because Tim was an amazing HMs, a very likable underdog and the first season of FNL.
And finally season 10 again because of a Tim, except this one won.

Am stunned that 2003 isnt the stand out winner.
It actually had real , relateable people in there. The twists were genuine, the people were genuine. They had real jobs, went models, were average looking. Some were smart, some were dumb. That season was about how people interacted, not about who wants to root who

Really? I was well-entertained by 2012. Youse hate it people of the winner (how typical). There were some memorable aspects about it (Angie vs Layla, Michael and Josh, Benjamin and his 'clique', and of course, Estelle).

2013's quintessential housemates were pretty much Tim, Tully, Drew and Ben. Surely, a season won't be any better if it just had four interesting housemates? The rest were so boring and bland that they could've easily been from other seasons and I wouldn't have noticed (yes, Tahan and Mikkayla too - they were so overhyped).

Honestly I liked the housemates - I think they're the only reason Nine didn't can it after just one season.
But the production of it all was just horrendous, and to come to that after a four year absence and eight years of (mostly) brilliant entertainment was unfortunate. To me it's the worst, followed closely by 2008.

Yeah...BB08 was tedious. Glad we both share the same opinion on it.

Fave.season for me was 04. But not the winner. Paul Dyer was robbed.

Closely followed by last season. By far Tim was the best player of the game and the most deserving winner

I loved 2004, even though I was only 11 watching it so I probably didn't even understand it all, but I remember liking that series better than any other even after it

I did not really understand nor appreciate big brother until I started watching BBUK in 2010 and then i binge watched most of the BBAU series, definitely my favourite BB Australian series was the one with the Logan twins in 2005. One of my favourite Aussie housemates would have to be Nobbi from 2008 though, absolute legend for me!
But if you were to ask my favourite big brother series (internationally) it would have to be UK 2010, it was perfect and had our representative hottie Aussie Sir John James ;) my man

I have a fond memory of 2005 with the logans.
And for some reason I can never forget the song
"I'm going for a walk around the garden, I'm going for a walk today, and if everybody in here hates me.... Then I don't get a damn!"

Better than the song Dean made up that year. Unless you're into that sort of thing.

It's easily out of the first three seasons for me. I went with series 2, because it doesn't get enough love on here.

2013 in the lead? What the fuck.
2013 was a fantastic series with a diverse and interesting cast.

That being said, I voted 2001.

I would struggle to rank my next favourite from 2002, 2003, 2005 and yes 2013. It's up there for me as a possible second in line with those.

Perhaps there are lots of voter in this poll, however, who have only watched since 2012 so that would make sense.

Hmm true about the cast, I guess, well at least some of them.

I mean, it WAS the season in which we were BLESSED to have watched Mikkslayla.

Favorite year for BBAU is 2005, BBUSA is also 2005, and BBUK is a tie between 2006 and 2010.

My thoughts exactly. 2013 had mostly forgetful housemates. I don't get why it's so highly voted? I'm guessing it's an age/time bias really - most of the people here are young and might not remember the older seasons. It's ironic that so many of us hate Ch9 Big Brother and yet the best season among the consensus is the Ch9 one! :nailbiting:

Tahan and Mikkayla were so overhyped - Mikkayla got on my nerves so badly. Tim had his moments, but certainly shouldn't have won. Don't forget the boring meatheads like Caleb, Ed and Matt. Oh, and the 'background characters' - Xavier, Rohan, Madeline, Nathan, Jasmine, Sharon and Heidi.

Completely forgetful housemates. Too bad, because people like Tully, Drew, Ben, Tim and Jade did 'brighten' that season up for me. I was a fan of Tully's drama and the crying though. But sorry, the majority of the housemates were boring and they couldn't really compensate that season for me.

2004, 2005 or 2006 should've been in the lead. NOT 2013. :shifty:
