It's like bogan trying to be posh with the propensity to over enunciate every word, because every. single. word. is. as. important. as. the. last. and. everyone. cares. so. much. You know?[DOUBLEPOST=1448542374][/DOUBLEPOST]Ok my saying no more starts now!

I didn't see it, but a lot of the reactions I have seen have said she was fierce but fabulous. Each to their own though.

Tbh I only saw a third or so of the speech, the performance of Chains was good though!
It might have been nerves? But I do find speaking interesting. I find i have three different speaking voices. One deep, one normal, and one high. But they are not that bogan unfortunately.
Lucky there is a Tina Arena hate thread.
Yeah I find speaking interesting as well actually, more the psychology of it.
Pretty sure I just have one voice but I'll adapt as needed, I don't believe any incarnations of them are bogan.
And yes, lucky there is such a thread. But no I won't go that far.
What do you mean by the psychology of it?
Just the psychology of language in general, how it's innate but also extremely socialised and how some non verbal communication is the same across all cultures but then others vary and are specific.
Actually, looking at Jess Mauboy and The Veronicas faces, they look ridiculously happy to be with Tina. That's what makes her a legend. After all these years, artists still want to be like her and admire her. You've got to be a little chuffed with yourself if you were Tina
...congrats on your girl getting that award reepbot...no wonder that you love her so much... I'm happy for you my friend... starting up this thread and standing by her with such conviction is a credit to you and also to Tina's talents too... well done... I must admit that I've never really been a fan of hers but that doesn't mean that she has no talent...it just means that I don't have the sophisticated tastes in her particular niche of music... more the pity for me I guess... again... well done reepbot and well done Tina!... cheers.
Pretty incredible.
