Tim Dormer back in the House

The problem is I just don't think the general viewers will be willing to give another version a go, especially not so soon. It'd probably take a miracle tbh.

Maybe not - 10 could market it as BB has come home, snag Tim and Mikey. Trot out some old favourites to beef it up and remind us of good BB.
10 doesn't have much to loose they have nothing going on

They're voting to save three other pairs from eviction.

And what if they're voting for three couples in order to try and have the remaining couple evicted? Then it turns out they don't have a say on which of the couple go. I was under the impression that a couple would be evicted. I don't think as viewers we should have to be rabidly following the show and the FB and the jump in just to find out what role our vote is playing in the process.

Article in The Australian today says Channel Nine are already offering "make goods" to advertisers for under-delivering on Big Brother.

And BB has The Block lead-in for only another 2 weeks.

Well.... that's your call, isn't it?

Yeah, and the thing is, he didn't explicitly tell me not to post it or to keep it a secret. Next time, I'll know not to ask permission about these things. However, I'm going to respect Tim (the admin)'s wishes.

You'll have to take it up with the admin, because I don't want to get in trouble with anyone.
I think, if someone e-mails or PM's you something, that is their way of explicitly telling you that it should be kept secret.

I think Tim Dormer's response has been somewhat interpreted to whatever you feel is right.
Probably the main part for me is :
"sorry to tell you they don't give a shit about what you guys on here think they have done to your precious tv show."
Now this is something I have pondered over in years gone by. Viewers in social media continually post how 'this is wrong; that shouldn't happen; they should do this & that." Frankly, I'd find that a boring show pandering to the masses, not trying to surprise people with a twist in anyway.
Is this how people want a show to be? To do exactly as they say? To NOT try something different? What would the point of that show then become?

I'm less than underwhelmed with surprise that 'they' don't care what if you think the show is all wrong, etc etc. Because obviously as intelligent people you would have tuned out & not wasted time online discussing something that displeases you so much.

Every year we hear at the start of the series that 'it's not as good as some other year' but still people watch & discuss the series. As the show gets going, more things develop & once again it's an OK show, etc etc.
The one & only thing lacking this year is spontaneity & perhaps Tim's injection was hoping to give that to them? Maybe the Execs felt (as I have just said) that every year has a slow beginning & Tim's 'pouncing' on them may just be the spark that was needed? Who knows, but certainly the dynamics have changed now & we may just see some natural interactions evolve rather than just on great big schoolies experiment. I wait in judgement.

And besides, as Kaz said in another thread 'there's nothing else on at the moment'.

I think he did good. He didn't make it anymore of a fail than what it already is.
People in my family watched it only cause he was on it and had no interest in the previous episodes because they've all been boring, so that's saying something. He can't change the format. It was the most entertaining so far, with or without BB telling him what to do.
