Very big difference between receiving a fine and being criminally charged with incitement, dumbass.
Ballarat is in Stage 3 which is the same as what Melbourne was during the BLM protest dumbass. One rule for them, one for everyone else.
I do think the response from the police was way over the top though - it could have been handled way better. She should have just been told what she did could be consided incitement - get her to remove it and let her off with a warning. Was anyone fined for a Facebook post?
name calling is not necessary. I have no idea what the different lockdowns are for the parts of your state - who can keep up with it all!Very big difference between receiving a fine and being criminally charged with incitement, dumbass.

you always say how much you love freedom of speech darlingFreedom of speech? What are we, in America? There is NO freedom of speech law in Australia.

And personally I never would have marched in the BLM march either due to Covid, but that is irrelevant, I was just letting you know there was a least a fine of some kind for the organisers. The ABC article you linked to says "Victoria still has cases of community transmission of COVID-19 and one of the highest infection rates in the country", so it doesn't seem like the conditions for protesting were safe then either.

Why are you insulting posters?
You see it as an insult, I see it as humour. Need to find stuff to keep us positives through these COVID times, dumbass.
Totally agree.I do think the response from the police was way over the top though - it could have been handled way better. She should have just been told what she did could be consided incitement - get her to remove it and let her off with a warning.
Insulting other posters isn't humour. I know a thing about humour.
Oh pleaseee. You are the most unfunny person on this forum. You have no idea about humour, dumbass.
I wasn't trying to prove any point if you actually look at what I wrote I actually said the police did not handle this with the pregnant lady very well. I was just saying letting you know that the BLM people did get a fine but no arrests for thier protest. I was curious when I saw your post about Dan allowing it because I knew there was a state that tried to get an injunction to try and stop it, and I wasn't sure if it was NSW or VIC so I looked it up.Then don't make stupid comments trying to prove a point when you don't know the facts of the matter.
I won a humour award in toastmasters.
Must have spoke about Tina then. That shit funny.
According to this article it’s an offence to arrange a gathering of more than two people in Ballarat. That sounds different than Melbourne was at time of BLM.Ballarat is in Stage 3 which is the same as what Melbourne was during the BLM protest dumbass. One rule for them, one for everyone else.

Pregnant mum’s arrest like ‘Nazi Germany’: Liberal MP lashes Victorian police
Liberal MP Craig Kelly has compared the Victorian Government with Nazi Germany after a pregnant woman was handcuffed and arrested over an anti-lockdown Facebook post in the family home.www.news.com.au
Tasmania has a max of 20 right now and havn't had a covid case in weeks. Adelaide has only just gone to more than 20. So a max of 20 is actually way different than 2 in the way the regulations are right now.Actually, gatherings in Melbourne had a similar limit during BLM. We were in lockdown during the time and there was a gathering limit in place.
Melbourne put a max gathering of 20 according to this article at the time.
