I reckon the spider is Jessica Rudd. She's an author, her dad was of course the prime minister, and being the daughter of Kevin would mean the press could be sometimes unkind to her and her family.

I am thinking some of the clues are being made up just to throw us so viewers keep guessing throughout the season. Alien was obviously Nikki Webster from the very start.

I don’t see how the Vanessa Amorosi song title references had anything to do with Nikki. That was in there deliberately to make us think it was Vanessa. Especially the “Have A Look” phrasing was random.

Spider is tall, with a killer bod

Elsa/Erica Hernatz.....something like that, think she may be involved in Next Model stuff, and she is doing musical theatre
