Last doll I remember owning (I think it may have to do with one too many haircuts of previous dolls)

Hahaha! We had the budget Barbies, we just called them Teenage Dolls (with extremely large bosoms and tiny waists and ill-fitting clothes). My younger brother gave them all haircuts. He claimed they were feeling the heat and he felt sorry for them. They all looked like punk rockers! He had a toy called Stretch Armstrong, hideous looking thing that oozed green stuff when punctured. Not that I knew how that might have happened:whistling:Woooo loved
Until I gave her a hair cut too lol.

I would to still have Stretch. He was very good for stress relief.I love it
I saw the Stretch Armstrong doll in the movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" recently.
Walter exchanges the doll for a skateboard with a young boy in the movie.
Haha, Stretch Armstrong. Never went back into the right shape. Loved them though. Strange hard bits in his body. Very odd but fun. I don't have brothers so the boys toys were more fun in many ways. Barbie, Midge and Skipper were hand me downs from the older girls next door. They had home made clothes too I'm pretty sure.Hahaha! My wonderful mother would make the dolls' clothes and they were in our Santa sacks. How gullible we were - never really cottoned on that the fabric was the same as dresses she made for us.Haha, Stretch Armstrong. Never went back into the right shape. Loved them though. On that note: what was your favourite Christmas gift as a kid? I remember getting The Sound of Music album the year my sisters got a portable record player (to share, can't imagine Santa making kids share these days!). I loved that record and I still have it.
I loved that too, and Operation. One year we got a board game called Park and Shop which we played for years. Do kids still like b0ardgames?Hands down, "Mousetrap" game.
I was super excited when I unwrapped the Christmas paper and saw it.
