Ok, who has embarrassing childhood memories?

1) My skirt falling down in the middle of a restaurant as a 7-8yr old (not exactly sure of age) but argh I do remember it happened after I was returning from the ladies toilet. People were laughing at me and I was mortified. I can still see my sister laughing at me (bloody moll) lol.

2) I was competing in a dance competition in yr 6 and my partner and I had our routine down pat until the actual day of the competition where I suddenly developed two left feet and completely destroyed all our hard work. I was mortified being laughed at by the whole school.

3) My sister and her bitch troll friends telling the boy I had a massive crush on that I loved him and relentlessly teasing me at every given opportunity. I remember crying my eyes out and being so embarrassed to be around him after that.

Woooo loved :inlove:
Until I gave her a hair cut too lol.

Hahaha! We had the budget Barbies, we just called them Teenage Dolls (with extremely large bosoms and tiny waists and ill-fitting clothes). My younger brother gave them all haircuts. He claimed they were feeling the heat and he felt sorry for them. They all looked like punk rockers! He had a toy called Stretch Armstrong, hideous looking thing that oozed green stuff when punctured. Not that I knew how that might have happened:whistling:

:roflmao: I love it

I saw the Stretch Armstrong doll in the movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" recently.

Walter exchanges the doll for a skateboard with a young boy in the movie.

Haha, Stretch Armstrong. Never went back into the right shape. Loved them though. Strange hard bits in his body. Very odd but fun. I don't have brothers so the boys toys were more fun in many ways. Barbie, Midge and Skipper were hand me downs from the older girls next door. They had home made clothes too I'm pretty sure.

My wonderful mother would make the dolls' clothes and they were in our Santa sacks. How gullible we were - never really cottoned on that the fabric was the same as dresses she made for us.
On that note: what was your favourite Christmas gift as a kid? I remember getting The Sound of Music album the year my sisters got a portable record player (to share, can't imagine Santa making kids share these days!). I loved that record and I still have it.

Hands down, "Mousetrap" game.

I was super excited when I unwrapped the Christmas paper and saw it.
