"He's havin' it away on his toes!"

That's my favourite. And 'The little toerag!" Haven't watched it in years. Thanks for your collection of good memories. It turned into a right old soap last time I looked.

It did. But it got back to police stuff at the end of the series.

I keep on seeing the killing popping up on the top picks section of netflix...I'm going to start it tonight... it has a 4 and bit star rating... I hope it's good...

Why is that? Who are the people that are voting?
I dunno. I could be wrong, I just get the sense that 'peers' are t in the best position to judge what is best. And it's rubbish that peer categories are called "most outstanding" and others are just "most popular" blah!

I haven't watched the logies in years. I remember liking it when Andrew Denton hosted it, but I could be looking back on that with rose-colored glasses.

Did anyone still watch Glee?

I still did... a little bit sad that it's all over. I just watched the finale.

Lucky there's something to full the "musical TV" hole in Empire. Not as much music but I'm loving it, even if it is just a fancy soap opera. Haha.

watching a bit of Hercule Poirot at the moment.

'Because, mon ami, the little grey cells'

'I say, Poirot old boy, any chance you could wrap up this murder case before this afternoon? It's just me and a few of the lads are going out fox hunting this afternoon and we could really do without all that blood.'

It is expected to be confirmed tomorrow that Jeremy Clarkson has been sacked by the BBC from Top Gear following a 20-minute verbal assault and 30 second physical assault on a producer.

Although 1 million people signed a petition thinking this is entirely acceptable behaviour, this is absolutely the right decision, and I'm glad he's been sacked for this rather than something he said. Whatever his value as a broadcaster you cannot physically attack your staff.

Must say though the BBC have handled this terribly - let it drag out in the media for a couple of weeks and allowed Clarkson to portray himself as the victim rather than the perpetraitor - compared to how TV3 handled the X Factor situation this has been a real mess, especially suspending the whole show. At the very least they should have got compilation episodes to air, or even just run repeats of the show in the slot.

I'm no fan of Clarkson personally but TV absolutely needs character like him rather than bland rent a hosts, but not at any cost. Top Gear will continue with Chris Evans the BBC's favourite to replace him (despite ruling it out) - incidently he's partly responsible for my user name!

...I actually like Jeremy Clarkson a lot... I love the show too... I agree... he had no right to punch that Producer for sure... the BBC had no other option but to sack him for it... what will probably happen is that Hammond and May will not renew their contracts with the BBC at the end of this month... they will go over to ITV or some other English TV channel and do another version of Top Gear and whoever replaces them on Top Gear will sink as fast as the show will in the ratings and it will be cancelled for sure...

...from what I read somewhere in Cyber space news over the last couple of days Top Gear needed to change it's format a bit because it was starting to show a bit of 'wear and tear' and was looking a tad bit frayed around the edges due to it's long running format... if Clarkson/Hammond and May do stick together and start a new version of it on another channel then perhaps the show will be a totally refreshed show that will go ape-shit in the ratings for them?... we'll have to wait and see I guess... but regardless... Clarkson really should not have hit that Producer... cheers.

I do think history kind of shows in the UK at least that when presenters go off to rival channels and launch a show similar to the one they've left it doesn't actually do that well. C4 and Sky have both ruled out hiring Clarkson at the moment, don't think ITV have made comment. Indeed the only channel to say they might work with him in the future is the BBC.

Clarkson behaves like a twat, gets fired. Seville and Harris molest kids, gets covered up. Shame on the BBC.

I started Bloodline on Netflix the other day, only watched the first ep, it wasn't very good.

Then I started House of Cards (USA) I'm not sure if to continue.

I've still got the rest of season 2 or Orphan Black to watch and the rest of Sons of Anarchy too.

I binged Empire last week, that was damn damn awesome. Its a little tacky in places but ermagherd it keeps you on your toes. Every time I see that kid thrown in the trash can I cry a little :-(
