it is an aussie one yes. I have the first ep recorded but haven't watched it yet.

yep its Australian. Its pretty lame. One chick likens her and her sisters as the Australian Kardashians.

is there a thread for the block?

Nope, nobody seems that interested.....I watch bits during adds, not this week so much, what I did see was boring, fairly boring people with very boring rooms, but I'm interested in seeing that area, very nice part of Melbourne - with very organised strident residents if they don't approve. They have been protesting against the Grande prix for years.
Much preferred Renovators :(

Beaconsfield - well done I thought, really quite a good production, restrained and quite respectful. Good actors and touching.
My ex went to Maritime College in Beaconsfield/Beauty Point and I know that place so well.

Funny had radio on this am, Kate Langbroek, complaining about how exhausting it is watchign TV at the moment, the channel flipping is giving her RSI.
So, true, it's almost like a sporting event if you don't prepare your stuffed- get ready, need drinks/food out of the way, toilet, etc all the stuff you usually do in adds must be taken care of, get your speedy finger ready, go.............

That's true kxk - especially for a reality tv junkie like me. However, I didn't flick to/from Beaconsfield. For once I watched the whole thing. I was one of the people stuck to the tv in 2006 and have enjoyed any little updates I have managed to hear about the men. How they came out of it not total basket cases I just don't know. I had forgotten just how long it was before they had any communication with anyone.

Oh no, certainly not flicking during Beaconsfield, couldn't pull me away from that.
Most of Australia was holding their breath for the weeks they were down there - who ever expected such a happy ending it was miraculous.
I thought it was a really tasteful production, even the sound was restrained - quite informative too, my imagination ran riot trying to consider what they were going through buried alive.

I didn't watch it but considering all I've been watching this year is Eastenders to now have Packed to the Rafters, The Block and Celeb Apprentice all on at once it's quite tiring.

Did anyone start watching "Five Days" on the ABC?...it is completely riveting...have only watched the first ep so far.

Also watching "The Shadow Lines" another good British Police Drama...(Not sure why they are so good and the US ones so awful ( except Law and Order of course)

"Waking the Dead" the last series is on now....also fantastic

"Miss Marple" even if you have seen them before they are a pleasure to watch :D

(I think I am drifting into old fogie land.

Ones I find hard to get up any enthusiasm for are...The Biggest Loser, The Block, Dancing with the Stars and Celebrity Apprentice :(

As for The Amazing Race.....am exhausted just watching them running around :D

Bring on Big Brother...for better or worse :D

Is anyone watching Revenge? ITs terrible bad, and fabulous!!! I love it.

Also there is a show on Monday nights late, caleld Happy endings, and I am finding it really funny.
