Really disappointing to see this. I’m all for a new generation of crew getting opportunities to step up and train into new roles and productions, but as others have already said there’s a level of expertise required for shows like this that should be taught and trained under professionals for years first.

We now have a glimpse at the team behind the live shows, some of the publicity and social media team and now some of the house/Control Room team. It’s clear the majority of the crew are not seasoned production personnel. The proof is in the product we received over the last month - you could already tell that the show was being curated by young and/or inexperienced staff, even before we saw the people behind it. You can now understand why it felt so amateur at times.

P.S. There’s also a video of them all clapping and cheering in the Control Room as the Finale went to air, and it sounds like they all start singing the “right foot back, left foot back, it’s the Grand BB Hotel” chant together…🥴

Alongside Georgia, one of the other directors appears to be Kristina Moschella (pictured in my earlier post) who has worked with Seven prior to this.

An upside… at least there seems to be a prominence of females working behind-the-scenes. That’s a plus, regardless of age, when you compare it to the OG crews.

Some more pics of the Control Room team:

Which of these so-called directors is responsible for Mel having NFI what was going on during the live shows? Because they should consider a new career.
