The Bachelorette Australia 2016

She is very likeable, warm, good frock
  • there is a lot of quality eye candy there, just a few fuggies that never spoke, be nice to see a hippie/surfie or something
  • do you think she just asked for tall dark & handsome please, and they threw in a few odds
  • is sam = keira
  • who will be the villian????
 
Gosh, there's a lot of dickheads in this. Looks really aren't everything, and Georgia seems bang on with weeding out the creeps. She seems lovely.

My early pick for the win is either Cam or Jake.
 
I liked Cam and Courtney, lovely expressive eyes both of them. Up himself playa Sam will be good for a few laughs at his own expense. They're all a lot more fun together than the girls standing around in their cocktail frocks. Glad she kept three-poo man last night and got rid of the stripper.

I was obsessed with her hair - especially after they showed it much shorter and darker and straighter in the intro package with her folks. So it's extensions? And dyed a really weird colour. It looked liked doll hair - I kept waiting for it to frizz up or fall off in pieces.

Was a bit shocked she left her mum who has pancreatic cancer for however many months to shoot this - the only people I know diagnosed with that have died within four to six weeks of diagnosis. She may be one of the lucky ones and have seven months but chances are she will die during filming! That's a bit much. I'd rather not be thinking about that as I watch people slurp each other on couches.

Anyway, so glad to see some life in some people - G falling over and laughing her head off, and some natural awkward convos, etc.

The Bachelorette was big on social media last night, trending at #1 (and even trending worldwide), but that hasn’t quite been reflected in OzTAM numbers where the show launched much lower than it did in 2015.

Last night the series with Georgia Love debuted with 655,000, well down on Sam Frost’s 875,000 and Richie’s recent Bachelor launch at 882,000. The show was beaten by The Block, Anh’s Brush with Fame and Border Security. This season launches with a new, rather than returning, single which may have impacted numbers -but it’s early days.

My first impressions: Cameron, Lee and Courtney seem nice (and also strong contenders?). Ben is hilarious. Rhys and Aaron have such a cute bromance.
 
Courtney seems nice, but awkward. He's the one who reminded me of Rohan from Survivor in the initial pictures. Hopefully he doesn't know Tully.

My brother saw a bit of Ben, Rhys and Aaron, and commented "is this the gay Bachelor?"

That is such a shame as this series with Georgia shows such promise.
 
I can understand why Georgia sent Carlos home last night but I cant even remember seeing Dale.. does anyone know what was he like?

I don't think Dale even spoke, not unless it was just in his intro. They sped through a bunch of them meeting Georgia in a few seconds, I think he must have been one of them.

Nice that Georgia returned the bracelet, Carlos can "charm" his next lady with it.
 
Interesting that anyone who has ever modelled Tully stakes some kind of claim to - yet, we have NEVER EVER seen her actually booked and modelling, internet model crap does NOT count.

Poor old Tully, she had the bean pole thing you need to model, and pretty eyes, but she just can't cut it being too boring looking and having not even a pinch of style. And she is gawky and graceless. Girl needs a stylist so bad.
Sad girl looks like a clown usually, especially in pics next to her stunning ex who resembles elegant Tilda Swinton

There are some good looking boys there though I must say and I really like Georgia.
