First review of The Bachelorette which hits screens on Wednesday
September 20, 2016 12:06pm
Tiffany Dunk News Corp Australia Network
CELEBRITY lookalikes, extravagant gifts, an intense bromance, a male stripper and an epic J-Law style tumble.
These are just a few things ahead for our latest Bachelorette, Georgia Love, who debuts tomorrow night on Ten.
Having been given a sneak peek of the episode, we can confirm that lovers of the dating franchise will find lots to love — and fall in love with — in the series’ second outing.
First up, let’s talk about The Bachelorette herself.
There has been some scepticism, even from this reviewer herself, that Georgia Love could fill Sam Frost’s elegant shoes.
Prepare to stand corrected.
Love is warm, engaging and — as demonstrated after stacking it upon what should have been her graceful entrance into the Bachelor mansion — extremely ready to laugh at herself.
She loves a pun and a dad joke and easily draws out both the best and the worst in the 16 men who are attempting to turn on the charm on night one.
So let’s talk about those guys.
We could start by swooning over the early hot favourites to go the long haul (yes, we’re talking about you Cam the fireman, you tall, dark and handsome Jake from the Gold Coast and also you industrial designer Courtney) but let’s face it, it’s way more fun to talk about the ones who get the obligatory crazy or villain music for their entrances.

There are several standouts, but the guy we’ll all be talking about come Thursday morning is Sam.
A 27-year-old electrician from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Sam rivals Bachelor ”villain” Keira Maguire when it comes to supreme confidence.
Prepare for pearlers like this.
“I’ve never had to put too much effort into chasing girls. Usually they come to me. I don’t think (impressing Georgia) will be a problem, nup.”
Or this.
“You have to be a special girl to keep my attention for more than a week. I get bored very easily.”
And this.
“Usually girls just agree with what I have to say. (Georgia) disagreed with everything. It baffled me.”
Sam, we can’t wait to hear more.
While it’s safe to say that all the men were impressed with Love when they met her on the mansion’s footsteps, you’ll also witness another passionate relationship being formed in episode one.
Will The Bachelorette’s Aaron and Rhys find an everlasting bromance? Picture: Supplied / Channel 10Source:Channel 10
Male model/entrepreneur Rhys and CEO Aaron quickly become besotted with each other and form a bromance that even makes Love herself slightly uncomfortable.
“If she doesn’t like me, I might take him,” Rhys jokes (we think) at one point.
Gifts will rain down upon The Bachelorette but it’s safe to say that the most cringe-worthy comes from multiple business owner slash male stripper Carlos who pulls out a Tiffany’s blue box.
He also gets bonus cringe points for confessing that he has dating app Tinder before explaining, “but I use it for business.”

And last but not least, prepare for a twist on the all-important first impression rose.
No, it’s not white and it doesn’t give the man his private spot to make out with Love to his heart’s content.
Instead it’s a yellow rose and will grant him a power untested on The Bachelor franchise.
And boy, will these guys go all out to get it.
Especially Carlos who openly says if he lands it he will use it to “absolute evil.”
Gentlemen, start your engines — and may the best man win Love’s heart.

I wonder how much that Tiffany bracelet was worth?
Surprisingly not that much, about $15o. His might even be cheaper.
I picked one up at a Vinnies cheap, and was surprised they are not all that expensive new.
You can get quite affordable Tiffany, impresses as a gift because people think it is more expensive.
Wanker no 2, Sam

Really? I was thinking more around the $1,000 mark.[DOUBLEPOST=1474453043][/DOUBLEPOST]Sam thinks his biggest competition is himself.Surprisingly not that much, about $15o. His might even be cheaper.
