The Bachelorette 2017

I assume ......
entrepreneur = unemployed, just simple old unemployed, maybe a laborer
marketing = salesperson
James is the best 'catch', decent career, nice looking, sweet, no big fat ego, good humored, intelligent, appropriate age, and NO BAGGAGE, no ex, no kids, and good with money/figures.
Stu is nice enough, and rich, but LOTS of baggage
the thing with Stu is the money in reality is his father's - he might manage the family business (or part of it) but Dad is where the money really is. Without Dad's brains and profile and left to his own skills would Stu be successful in his own right?
I'd never heard of him before so have no idea - but all I've read is that he's keen to be in the headlines of the social pages and his wife is chasing a reality tv deal herself. I see him photographed up on the GC playing golf with friends (of course NOW the Daily Fail are posting exactly the same pics with a totally different slant - he's heartbroken and desperate to win Sophie back after she dumped him immediately after the finale apparently)

I just don't see her choosing him - it goes against what she said she was looking for.

I think I'm going to forever be on Team James - he'd have to sprout 2 heads and start spitting green stuff for that to change at this point

the other thing Blake says
He believes if you adapt quickly, life will never be a headache.

for me that signals he can lie like a flatfish and cover his tail well - so never gets caught out in the lies and always come out smelling like roses - so far $hit don't stick ...

however - whilst he might have been able to do that in his own little universe - out in front of the constant media attention etc every little thing is going to get scrutinised - and you get caught out very quickly if you've even slightly bent the truth. He would have to be very naive not to realise that.

another reason to like James - no bullshit in his background, no bullshit in his attitude - he's genuinely in there to enjoy the experience and ensure she enjoys time spent with him too

I didn't realise James was so short. I hope Sophie isn't heightist.
Sadly I don't see him as the winner, in which case I hope to god it's Apollo. Age difference and all, if he is in it for the right reasons (and we have no evidence so far that he's anything other than nice, he doesn't even join in the other's games) then it could, possibly, work.

As long as it isn't Stu or Jarrod.

I think I'm going to forever be on Team James - he'd have to sprout 2 heads and start spitting green stuff for that to change at this point

Same. Whatever happens, he'll always be the guy she should have picked. A lot like Nikki. Richie should have chosen her, hands down, no decision required. Ahhh, regrets! Sophie is inching closer and closer towards them LOL.

He is the muscular suitor who has caught Sophie Monk's eye on The Bachelorette

And on Friday night Apollo Jackson was working his magic elsewhere, strutting down the red carpet at the Thor: Ragnarok Australian premiere on the Gold Coast.

The buff magician beamed from ear to ear as he made his way down the red carpet for the Marvel movie, in which he appears as a body double for Mark Ruffalo's character The Hulk.

The red carpet novice also made sure to prominently display his VIP pass for the A-list event around his neck.

Coveted role: Apollo played Mark's stunt double as the big green superhero in several scenes, including one alongside Chris

While Apollo did not pose for photos with Chris Hemsworth on the red carpet, he gushed about his idol during an interview with the Gold Coast Bulletin this week.

Apollo played Mark's stunt double as the big green superhero in several scenes, including one alongside Chris.

'I am a massive nerd so I was super excited and so stoked to do a Marvel movie,' he said.

Will he win? Despite his young age, the 'old soul' was the first contestant to score a second single date with the blonde bombshell on Thursday night's episode

'I got the opportunity to do a scene with Chris Hemsworth and he was just a fun, down-to-earth guy, who is so normal and humble.

'He’s definitely a role model I look up to in the industry.'

Meanwhile, Apollo has emerged as a serious contender for Sophie Monk's affections on The Bachelorette.

EXCLUSIVE: The new Magic Mike? The Bachelorette's hunky magician Apollo Jackson stripped off to audition for male revue Thunder From Down Under
The Bachelorette star made Sophie Monk blush when she saw his ripped physique in a Roman gladiator costume last month.

And it appears Apollo Jackson, real name Jake Spence, and his abs could be set to impress many more women in the future as part of a global male revue.

Thunder From Down Under's founder Billy Cross told Daily Mail Australia the hunky magician, 24, eagerly applied to be in the show a few months ago.

Billy claimed Apollo had watched the resident Las Vegas show earlier this year and approached the company to be cast in one of their dance troupes.

'When he was in Vegas he was looking for magician work, but I think he came to the show and then thought, “You know what? I’d rather do this instead",' Billy said.

'He went and met with my manager over there and said “oh, I’d love to do this. I want to join the show” and we said “OK when you go back to Australia, go meet Billy”.'

Daily Mail Australia have reached out to Apollo for comment.

'We met him and all of a sudden we didn’t hear from him again and now we know why!' Billy said Apollo applied to work in one of the dance troupes, but months later he saw him debut as a contestant on Channel Ten's hit reality show

'He came into the office, we met him and all of a sudden we didn’t hear from him again and now we know why!' Billy joked, admitting to next seeing the muscular suitor on Channel Ten's dating show The Bachelorette.

'He did apply to work for us, so it was weird because I basically saw him on television and thought “geez, I know that face from somewhere… oh, s*** yeah, he was that guy who applied a couple of months ago!”’

Billy was impressed by the now reality star during the interview, adding: 'Amazing, charming, good looking guy, had all the credentials to be in the show. He was definitely ready to be sent to Vegas, to go back there and learn the show and then perform in the touring troupe.'

'I think it was more of a career change': The founder said Apollo didn’t mention any prior stripping experience in his audition and was open about his past career as a magician

Billy confirmed Apollo's bulging biceps, defined chest and six-pack abs that viewers have already seen on the Bachelorette were up to the show's standard and make him the 'perfect candidate'.

The founder said while Apollo didn’t appear to have any prior stripping experience: 'I think it was more of a career change. He was definitely upfront with us and told us he was a magician.'

Apollo is currently one of the final five suitors vying for Sophie's affection, with Sophie well aware of his desire to break into the entertainment industry.

The Queensland local is a magician, aspiring musician and amateur actor, having recently landed a role as a Hulk body double in the hit movie Thor: Ragnarok.

Meanwhile, Billy joked: 'All goes well with touring in Australia in January, February, March, maybe he could be on that tour!’

i thought Sam already outted Blake as the culprit .... oh wait .. Sam .. totally believable

'Plantgate' culprit finally revealed! The Bachelorette contestant responsible for 'pi**ng in Jarrod's pot plant' has been outed - and you'll never guess who it is!

'Plantgate' has been at the forefront of The Bachelorette this season.

And on Monday Woman's Day revealed the identity of the person who set the whole saga in motion by urinating in Jarrod Woodgate's pot plant.

An insider has told the publication that Bachelorette 'villain' and reject Ryan Jones was the one responsible for the deed and claimed that he just couldn't help himself.

'He couldn't resist winding Jarrod up': An insider has told Woman's Day that Bachelorette 'villain' and reject Ryan Jones was the one responsible for 'pi***ng in Jarrod's pot plant'

'It was hilarious,' an insider told the publication, 'He couldn't resist winding Jarrod up.'

abelled a 'stage-five clinger' by fans of the show, Jarrod has been on the warpath in recent episodes as he desperately tried to find out who sabotaged his greenery.

On Thursday's episode, Jarrod continued to interview suspects over the alleged contamination - via urination - of a pot plant he was attempting to grow.

The drama began in an earlier episode of the show, in which Jarrod and Sophie planted seeds in a pot plant.

On the warpath: Jarrod has been attempting to search for the culprit for weeks, after accusing other contestants - that weren't Ryan - of committing the act

Where it all began: The drama began in an earlier episode of the show, in which Woodgate and Bachelorette Sophie Monk planted seeds in a pot plant

The contestant has maintained the seeds were planted in a 'circle of love,' but began to suspect another cast member urinated in the dish after they failed to sprout.

On Thursday, Jarrod pulled Sophie aside to inform her that contrary to his prior concerns, the seeds - which he viewed as a symbol of their love - had begun to grow.

Exhibit A: On Thursday Woodgate pulled Monk aside to inform her that contrary to his prior concerns, the seeds which he viewed as a symbol of their love had begun to grow

In spite of this, he continued to accuse cast mates Blake Colman and Sam Cochrane of expelling their bladders into the plant - allegedly to sabotage it.

At around 8.28pm on Thursday evening's episode, footage was aired that documented Jarrod's ongoing probe.

'Did you fertilise the plant? Or do you know someone that fertilised the plant?' he asked Blake.

Blake appeared to find the line of questioning humorous, informing his accuser that he'd be taking any disparaging information to his grave.

Something funny? 'Did you fertilise the plant? Or do you know someone that fertilised the plant?' he asked Colman in a heated exchange, but the contestant simply laughed

None of her top 5 are worthy of the next Bachelor role in my opinion.. They need to cast someone completely different.
I'm totally over the repeaters - they've never lived up to their promise. I understood why they gavve Sam Frost another go but not the others - its just lazy casting. Its more interesting if you're getting to know the Bach ANd the contestants at the same time

I will put this out there now - I think they will go for another celebrity next season.

No idea why but Sophie will be the start of something I feel..... If they go for Sasha again, I will be disappointed.

is this perhaps the bombshell before the home visits?

Slip of the tongue! Did Sophie Monk accidentally reveal who wins The Bachelorette five weeks ago?
With only five men left in contention for Sophie Monk's heart on The Bachelorette, it won't be long before the winner is finally revealed on air.

But it seems that Sophie herself may have dropped an accidental spoiler about who she picks at the end.

In a five-week-old interview with NW, which resurfaced on Mamamia on Sunday, the 37-year-old inadvertently shared what could be a huge clue pointing towards the winner's identity.

Spoiler alert? In a five-week-old interview with NW magazine, which resurfaced on Mamamia on Sunday, Sophie Monk (pictured) may have accidentally revealed who won The Bachelorette

'Yep! I'm fully in love! I've got to say, at the beginning, I was so nervous about this, but it was fun and also hard work because you're hurting people and it's real emotions and it's actually real,' she told NW in September.

She added: 'I'd love to have my own [kids]… I think in a year or a year-and-a-half maybe.'

The theory is that since she specified having her 'own' kids, publican Stu Laundy is indicated to be the likely winner as he is the only one who already has children.

'I'd love to have my own [kids]': The theory is that since Sophie specified having her 'own' kids, it means Stu Laundy is the winner because he's the only one who already has children

However, there has also been speculation that the former Bardot singer may adopt children, which could also explain why Sophie used 'own' children in the interview.

Speaking to The Project on Friday, the blonde beauty confirmed she wanted to attempt to conceive naturally but didn't rule out adoption.

'Let's see how my ovaries are going, but I hope so,' she divulged.

Winner: Sophie reportedly dropped a huge clue that indicates Stu could be the winner

If Stu is the eventual winner of the Network Ten dating show, then there could well be a stumbling block to Sophie conceiving naturally.

On Monday, the 44-year-old businessman revealed to TV Week that he had a vasectomy after having four children with his ex-wife Rachel.

'I was married and had four beautiful kids and then I had a vasectomy,' Stu told the publication, he also admitted that he'd happily have it reversed if the situation called for it. success isn't guaranteed though for a reversal

whilst I can see him maybe going on the Paradise one they've spruiking but which everyone seems to No I'm Not Doing It ... I can't see him being offered the Bachelor role

could see him doing I'm A Celebrity - and his mate Kris Smith might put a good word in for him
