The Bachelorette 2017

One down, several still to go. Why do the producers decide Sam's storyline is over, but continue to torture us with Jarrod's and Blake's?
Honestly, poor Sophie, they've provided her with the worst examples of Aussie mandom.

...perhaps Sophie is keeping Jarrod and Blake as easy 'throwaways' at the last minute to make it easier for herself perhaps?... there has to be some reason for her keeping them... cheers.

Someone on twitter has just tweeted at Sophie "Jarrod will skin you and wear you as a coat"

...the worrying thing about that statement FatPants is that it could potentially come true!... lol!... perhaps that's the real reason for Sophie to flee to Thailand for a 'holiday' lol!... cheers.

Osher will have to make sure to hide all the knives first!

His face when he gets no rose. Run, Sophie, run!

Crikey! It's unusual to top the news, isn't it? (can't wait to get told it isn't!)

Bachelorette tops Thursday, Nine lands third.
October 13th, 2017 By David Knox Filed under: News,

Last night demonstrated why there is still a tussle over Australia’s third commercial network.

TEN was the leading primary channel last night, with The Bachelorette topping the night and Gogglebox the second top entertainment show. Together with The Project TEN also scored the first 3 places in the Demos.

The Bachelorette dominated with 985,000 viewers (with Apollo already firming as a potential 2018 Bachelor if he doesn’t win Sophie’s heart), well ahead of an extended Home and Away with a 30 minute head start, RBT and 7:30.

Gogglebox on 826,000 was also without peer, beating everything on Nine (including its 6pm news) and all of Seven’s entertainment shows.

(etc.)

wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

I think its all been said already but OMFG was / is Sam delusional or what? and the arrogance - HE would teach SOPHIE a thing or two about the industry SHE'S actually had some success in - anyone ever heard of Sam before this??!! Was yelling at the tv DUMP THE ARROGANT A$$HOLE SOPHIE - OPEN THE LIMO DOOR AS ITS STILL MOVING AND SHOVE HIM OUT!!!

and then the love fest between Blake and Sam - totally believing they were going to be the final two and wouldn't have an issue if the other one won ... Sophie must be totally pissing herself laughing watching this back!!!

Hoping that the single date will show Blake right up - but reading THIS in the Daily Fail had me wondering just how well he's pulled the wool over everyone in the mansion's eyes?!!

'The offer was gone': Bachelorette insider says Stu Laundy regretted setting Blake Colman with a 'huge job' after discovering the 'entrepreneur' wasn't qualified

He famously described himself as an 'entrepreneur and investor' on The Bachelorette, while failing to mention his career as a fridge and air-conditioning mechanic.

And Blake Colman's curiculum vitae may have landed him in some hot water, with an insider claiming publican Stu Laundy had initially agreed to set Blake up with a job before deciding to retract the offer.

'Stu was going to set him up with a huge property redevelopment job in Sydney. It included things like redeveloping the Steyne Hotel in Manly, which Stu's family owns,' the insider said.

'That was, until Stu got out of the mansion and actually looked Blake and his portfolio up,' the insider said.

'When Stu looked into Blake's qualifications and realised he had none, Blake's job offer was gone,' they added.

'Blake wants to move to Sydney but can't afford it. He was hoping that another star on The Bachelorette will hook him up with a job.'

The father-of-four is the son of pub king Arthur Laundy, an heir to his $400 million fortune and manager of the family company.

Meanwhile, Daily Mail Australia recently revealed Blake worked as a fridge and air conditioning mechanic.

He isn't an 'entrepreneur'- he is a refrigeration mechanic that lives with his parents,' a well-placed source exclusively told Daily Mail Australia.

According to his LinkedIn page, Blake stopped working as a fridge and air conditioning mechanic in January this year, around the time he would have been auditioning for The Bachelorette.

'He thinks he's destined for Hollywood... he's not. Blake was trying to be the villain character so he could be remembered on The Bachelorette,' the anonymous source said.

'He wanted fame and thought Sophie was his ticket.'

The guy's totally a bull$hit artist - but wouldn't this also prove Stu (of the unmoving possibly botoxed forehead) is totally fkn cluele$$ if he can't smell a rat that close at hand??

Can't fathom Sophie being ok with Blake "massaging" her during that race - if the guy's not worthy of a rose why is she comfortable with him being all handsie with her?

LOVED that the blue team was so relaxed and enjoying the day as well as able to win a race ...

I know I keep half-defending, half-rollocking Jarrod - but his actions on the boat (super keen to win and putting huge effort in despite Blake not helping at all - even in 2nd race he looked next to useless!!) only would have shown Sophie that he's doing all he can to win. I can see James, Apollo and Jarrod at the end of this ... Apollo going out 3rd, Jarrod 2nd and James for the win!!!

Mannnn I DO wish that Sophie had thrown Blake AND Sam out at the same time and given AJ another week but maybe showing Blake's true colours and letting him hang himself out to dry like Sam did is the aim of the single date :)

LOL at Blake living with his parents. Nothing wrong with that in itself, but it's hilarious imagining his parents watching their son on tv pretending to be a suave entrepreneur investor ladykiller, when he probably left half empty pizza boxes and skidmarky jocks in his bedroom.

And yes crimmy I agree, Stu must have lousy judgment to have fallen for even a second of Blake's bullshit. I rolled my eyes the very first time I saw "Entrepreneur/Investor" on my screen.

'It was amputated and reattached'! The Bachelorette's 'villain' Blake Colman was awarded up to $32,500 in workers compensation after freak accident left him with a permanent injury :whistling: so who's disappointed it wasn't a different appendage that was injured ;)
He's known for his good looks and being the 'villain' on this season of The Bachelorette

But Blake Colman's life hasn't all been plain sailing as an insider has revealed to Daily Mail Australia that the raven-haired hunk suffered a work injury in 2011 that permanently damaged his left thumb.

The source, who worked at the law firm representing Blake at the time, said the 29-year-old's thumb was amputated after a freak accident and he cannot straighten it.

'It was amputated and reattached'! The Bachelorette's 'villain' Blake Colman was awarded up to $32,500 in workers compensation after freak accident left him with a permanent injury

'Blake was working with a company that installs rubber surfacing for public playgrounds when his left thumb was partly amputated by a faulty rubber extruding machine,' the source told Daily Mail Australia.

'It was reattached, but his left thumb cannot be straightened out. He would have received a substantial payment for this injury.'

According to an employee at Work Cover WA, Blake would have received up to $32,419 for his injury.

The reality star's LinkedIn profile shows that he once ran a business called Coolman Refrigeration, which specialised in 'residential housing for AC Installation'.

professional hitchhiker maybe?

they've pointed out he's hardly an entrepreneur/investor as claimed but then tag him as one in photos O_O

yes my interpretation of "Entrepreneur/Investor" = unemployed and trying to fill the "job title" field with something vague yet impressive sounding ...

it might pull the birds at the pub for the night - as long as he doesn't take them home to Mummy & Daddy's house ;)

'It made me feel really uncomfortable': Defiant Sophie Monk responds to Sam's claim their kiss was cut by Bachelorette producers - and says he 'grabbed her head' when she offered a 'peck'

Eliminated Bachelorett contestant Sam Cochrane said on Friday's K&JO show that his kiss on his single date with Sophie Monk was cut out.

And just shortly after, Sophie called into the program, hitting back at the 31-year-old voiceover artist's claim.

Insisting that the contestant was quite forceful in locking lips, the songstress said of the 'really uncomfortable' moment: 'I did not want to kiss him.'

Sophie explained to radio co-hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson: 'He said that I kissed him and that they cut it out.

'What happened is, I gave him a rose and pecked him to be polite, and he goes "Can I have a peck?" and I go, "That was a peck", and he grabbed my head and made me kiss him.

'I didn't really kiss him back and it made me feel really uncomfortable. So if they (producers) cut it out, that's probably why.

'I did not want to kiss him. The whole time, he made me feel uncomfortable.'

The former Bardot singer added that over time, she came to realise that Sam was simply on the show for fame, and not love.

Sophie said: 'It's always a performance for the camera, this guy. I realised he's there because he wants to be a star.'

The blonde beauty's comments came just moments after Sam claimed to Kyle and Jackie that his intimate moment with Sophie was cut out by producers.

'On my first date, we did kiss. They (the producers) just didn't film it. It was really great,' he said on-air.

Jackie interjected, asking why producers would cut out the pivotal scene.

'They filmed it. They just didn't show it. I think she kissed Jimmy (James) on the same episode,' Sam offered.

Thursday night's episode saw Sophie eliminate the Sydney-sider from the competition, of which five suitors remain.

...why am I not surprised by this news item about Sam?... lol!... what a delusional twat the 'combover kid' really is lol!... I bet that his 3 nephews are so proud lol!... on this website below... cheers.

'He's full of s---': Sophie Monk hits out at Bachelorette evictee Sam

Sophie Monk has hit out at The Bachelorette's latest evictee Sam, accusing him of lying and saying he made her feel "uncomfortable" on the show.

Sam, appearing on Kyle & Jackie O's KIIS breakfast radio show to debrief following his eviction on Thursday night, was asked to pinpoint the moment his fortunes on the show changed.

"You were a bit of a frontrunner there, what went wrong?" host Jackie O asked the voice-over artist, 31.

"I talked about tits," was his response, referring to an episode where he repeatedly commented on Monk's "cans".

"Two nights before that I was running around naked and my package was mentioned and my balls and my schlong," he added, in an odd sort of defence.

He also said that Monk kissed him following their first solo date, but the footage was cut.

"They filmed it, they just didn't show it... I think she kissed Jimmy on the same episode, so they, you know..." he added, hinting that Monk was getting a favourable edit from the show's producers.

"Holy crap, I don't think he thought I was going to listen to it," she told the hosts.

She said the "kiss" was likely cut from the broadcast because it was forced.

"What happened is, I gave him a rose and pecked him to be polite, and he said 'Can I have a peck?'. I said, 'That was a peck...', and then he grabbed my head and kissed me and made me feel really uncomfortable," she said.

"If they cut it out, that's why."

She also denied ever commenting on Sam's "package".

"No, I never did... I don't know what he's trying to do. Probably the same thing he did on the show, trying to be famous," said Monk.

"The whole time he made me feel uncomfortable," she added. "He was always performing for the cameras... He didn't even look at me half the time."

Monk also threw in another dig at Sam, when the interview turned to the season's oddest mystery: the culprit behind Jarrod's pissy potplant.

"It's Blake," piped in Kyle. "Sam said he saw him do it."

"But Sam also said he kissed me, so he's full of shit!" replied Monk.

Monk also addressed the viewer backlash that met Wednesday night's shock decision to send home audience favourite Luke.

"I had such a connection with him... That really hurt me," she said. "But it's such a fast-paced show, and you've got to make decisions.... I just felt the energy changed when I went on other dates."

Thursday's episode won the night's ratings for Ten, with 985,000 viewers nationally.
