The Bachelor Australia 2015

I know it's the nature of the show that they can't let on who they are going to pick.

But it's not the show that makes him come out and say that there was never any feelings when we've just watched him full on making out and being googly-eyed with them. That's a kick in the teeth.
How difficult would it have been for him to say that yes he had feelings for Lana but his feelings for Snez were stronger and he was really happy.

Would hurt nobody.

Therefore I think he IS a knob for doing that, but I do hope that he and Snez are happy together at the same time.

Exactly. I can't believe how 'romantically' invested a bunch of random women got over the SAME friggin' guy they couldn't tell apart from a bar of soap just a few months ago. It is genuinely mind boggingly and scary at the same time. :wideyed:

What are the odds of a randomly selected group of girls ending up believing some equally randomly selected bloke just after a few weeks of going out on dates with him is the perfect man for most of them.

*shakes head in disbelief*

I'm sorry but it is just too hard to believe, it is not normal well adjusted human behaviour. Me thinks the surreal nature of the show has messed with their heads and convinced them that they truly cared for this guy on a deep romantic level. Either that or they fall in 'love' with men far too easily.

Aww you're a closet romantic ;)
See, the situation is, he's the only one they're getting to know at that time. Some get to know him and develop stronger feelings and others don't so much but still want to be picked because rejection sucks.
I don't believe that there's '1 soulmate for everyone'. I think that's a bunch of bull. I think you have multiple people you can get to know and develop feelings for but it all depends on whether it's reciprocated or if you're with someone else.
In this situation they're meeting him with the express purpose of seeing if he's someone they could be with. I think only a few developed actual real feelings for him. Most weren't fussed.

Like I said previously in another post, the majority of guys wouldn't have much experience in kindly letting down someone they're not interested in. I put the bach's clumsy efforts down to not having the emotional intelligence and the ability to express himself in a way that doesn't come across as uncaring and a self centred douche. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt but I guess most posters here see his efforts in a different light. :)

It's not how he let them down that bothers me so much. I get it, I wouldn't know what to say if I was in his position.
It's what he's said afterwards that I thought was just him being led by the balls...

I'm curious as to how the female bachie will be judged in this thread when she has starts culling her own batch of potential male suitors. Should be interesting, and possibly enlightening, to say the least. :pompus:

She'll cop it worse. It'll also be about what she's wearing, her makeup, her hair etc. In your opinion women are hard on men but let me tell you that as a collective women can be just as hard if not harder on other women lol.

I reckon she wants a spot on 'The Project' or something similar like Heather has as well and turning on the waterworks may garner enough sympathy for her to get it.
I'm actually not to far off believing that. Maybe not in the hopes of the project, but something like that.

I'm undecided for the time being

Nah sorry, I still think he's a jerk regardless of what production wanted him to do.
He's lack of consideration for his actions is why Lana is still struggling months on.
Instead of saying 'I'm in love with someone else' or 'What I feel for you is not as strong as'...he's said 'Not sure if I'm the guy for you'.

Not sure? Despite meeting each other's family and him asking shit like if her friends would like him, if she'd ever move to Melbourne etc.
She's completely confused and probably pissed at how insincere he is.

Can't wait for Bachelorette to start, somehow I think Conn won't have anything to say.

Especially when she's had to go around with a smile on her face pretending she won the thing.

Absolutely! He is flakey as they come. It would be better to leave doubts in the girls mind rather than making them believe they have a chance just to spit in their face.

Heather was completely blindsided, and lana was definitely blindsided too. I would say the nation was 50/50 too, so there was no reason why she could not have won it. And like another poster said, how easy he could do that so convincingly- well IMO that makes it worse. I saw a few recaps of last years rose ceremonies online and Blake seemed sincere in feeling uncomfortable in hurting them. Sam showed none of that.
