FINALLY all caught up. I am also on the Sam-hate bandwagon now. I don't mind if he doesn't choose Heather because his connections are stronger elsewhere - that's fair enough - but when he gave his reason for getting rid of her - I'm mad that he took Heather this far if he genuinely thought it was more friendship than romance all this time, instead of letting her go early like Jacinda and Bec. Also mad that he said sweet things to her like "I may not be able to get rid of you", etc. if the friend zone thing has always been an issue at the back of his mind. You just don't say things like that, man.
