Sooo, based on a biased sample of one (because Blake is excluded for being douche and making a mess of it), another way to predict the winner purely for amusement value.
Tim chose Anna in season 1 - they are still together.
- Tim: 35ish, Chiro, genuine, solid, successful, looks after himself, not dissimilar to Sam in considerable respects etc.
- Anna: 25ish, law graduate, un-catty, subtle, yet to experience living out of home but not unworldly (a good bet).
-> Sam could choose either Lana or Sarah but Lana is a wildcard (Have a feeling she'll show some doubt-creating colour)
- > Sweet (slightly boring) Sarah sweeps up!

Haha one more on the Sarah wagon!
I notice she's getting a bit more backing on SM these days!

Sarah is definitely looking good after last night's episode. The thing is I don't think Sarah is necessarily boring, but her interactions with Sam are boring, and there typically is some praising of Sam (to fill awkward silence?) e.g. "You're a very good kisser", "You're quite a catch" - which makes me wonder if perhaps she would shine more with another guy.

Ha ha, well it's not statistically reliable, but show me one that is! Actually I don't care who wins, they're all worthy imo.Haha one more on the Sarah wagon!

I heard someone describe Sarah as perfect wife material because she looks pretty and doesn't say much. Now I'm sure as a female I'm meant to be offended by this but it's quite accurate. But maybe Sam is too bland himself and would prefer an outgoing headstrong woman to complement him.

Ohhh we haven't had a non Snez fan just yet!I am not impressed with Snezana at all. I think she is on there not to find love but exposure for her daughter. Just my opinion on that. I have been back and forth with all the girls, and Sam as well. He seems a decent sort of guy, oh the decisions he has to make. I think the family visits will make his decision tonight a little easier. My opinion of Heather rose last night during the rose ceremony. She was holding back tears. She certainly doesn't like to cry in front of people. Anyhow, R U OK?![]()
I have sort of felt uneasy about her ever since the 'rumours' about her getting angry at Bec and then last night...I kind of missed her interaction with Sarah (my gf was talking to me about something and I had to listen or I'd be in trouble lol) but she came off looking aggressive.
I do think Sam's pretty taken with her though.
To me it all comes down to what you value, obviously I value sparks but there needs to be more , you need to be compatible on all levels and I think she's a laid back girl who's happy go lucky...which fits well with Sam's lifestyle.Sarah is definitely looking good after last night's episode. Whether or not he sees that though...

Yes! lol well that's a crude way of putting it but something that isn't overly complicated...enough 'there' for it to last but not 'too much' that it's over before it's began because the passion over rides the practicality of it.I heard someone describe Sarah as perfect wife material because she looks pretty and doesn't say much. Now I'm sure as a female I'm meant to be offended by this but it's quite accurate. But maybe Sam is too bland himself and would prefer an outgoing headstrong woman to complement him.

I totally get you. I don't think Sarah's boring at all. She's very classy and enjoys the finer things in life but I also think she's very charismatic and can laugh at herself. I completely agree with the large consensus out there though that she and Sam come across very bland together...but who knows, maybe they're editing out the better stuff so she sneaks under the radar to the finish line?

Was that person male or female?
And do they have a small one? lol

Going off Sam's words to Nina last night I think a headstrong woman is the opposite of what he wants...or maybe he was just trying to make up excuses to let her know she was getting dumped.

Yeah, I get that too, but it is what it is. It very much depends on the type of 'man' Sam is.I heard someone describe Sarah as perfect wife material because she looks pretty and doesn't say much. Actually, it's just reminded me in Tim's year, the other finalist from memory was more from the Snez mold, but Anna won.

Or might have been because she said her mum might cut her grass, LOL!Going off Sam's words to Nina last night I think a headstrong woman is the opposite of what he wants...or maybe he was just trying to make up excuses to let her know she was getting dumped.

The funniest part of the whole night was the look on Sam's face when she did that.

That's true. He probably prefers a "simpler" girl. Gah I now I sound like the aforementioned guy, the appropriate word eludes me right now. Sarah seems classy and refined and not likely to create drama though certainly.

But wasn't he saying last night that Nina was a bit too outgoing and headstrong for him? Or something to that effect.I heard someone describe Sarah as perfect wife material because she looks pretty and doesn't say much. Some girls want it too, I have a mate that is a geneticist and ridiculously smart and she prefers 'tradie' guys (not that they're dumb or anything but you know...it seems like an odd match).

I finally worked out my thoughts about who I think Sam might pick.
Kay, so from the beginning I thought Heather, and up until Lana showed up I still thought she had it it. I think she's definitely ahead of Snez and Sarah, but if he's not feeling it with her I feel like he'd want to spare her feelings above the other girls just because of how close they are, so that would explain if he got rid of her tonight.
At the moment I'm toying with Lana being the winner since all the mags seemed to be running stories about how awesome she is, and they like showing a lot of his narration about how he's feeling about Lana.
With Snez I feel like he thought she was (obviously) stunning, but the mum stuff and living in Perth will end up being too hard for him. I also think Snez turned a bit high school girlish when she was so close with Nina. I think he'll find her hometown date really confronting too, especially since it looks like her brothers going to be a hard ass.
Sarah I never really understood, to be honest. Other than convenience factor they don't seem to have much of anything going on. Blondes are obviously not his type either so I really can't see her winning. If she does, they've done a stellar job on the underdog editing.
So honestly at the moment I'm thinking its Lana, with my fingers crossed Heather slips through.
