Maybe it's because I've been in the kids shoes, meeting parents partners, but it's really not such a big deal. Especially if he's meeting her for one day and then not seeing her again until he's decided.

My whole issue with it is having her profile and details out there for all to see online. Way too many sickos out there for me to ever have considered having her on sm or tv .. they should have introduced them off camera and only shown if she won .... oh wait a fkn minute .....ding ding ding ... lightbulb moment ...

Ok I think Im convinced ... first the ex who probably would not have had any issue unless she wanted to move daughter interstate. .. now the light comes on ... if its happily ever after then yes intro the daughter. .. shes going to be in the mags etc anyway so why not

I think them showing it a big deal after Osher made a point about how careful you need to be putting kids on TV - he even originally said we wouldn't be seeing Eve because of that. Given those comments about how difficult it is I don't think they'd go through the hassle of showing the kid unless they absolutely needed to.

Yeah...that's exactly how I see it...it would just seem unnecessary to show it for part of the hometown visits, just to have her in there for that.
Maybe I'm old fashioned that way.
 
So is it playing out the way the spoilers predicted? I didn't read them and still won't, but the impression I got from reading around them here was that Heather didn't make the home visits but Nina did. May have just been my wrong impression.
 
Nah we knew Heather made home visits as its in the commercial and pics, the content in spoilers is what happens after home visits, so we will see tonight.
 
I didn't read them, but have just been spoiled reading on here a few pages back. Er, thanks.

It was always obvious to me that Nina would be going home, and not on the home visits, but I liked the way they edited Sam's confessionals to provide a hint of suspense. I did hope Lana would get the boot last night instead - I find her really smarmy. Maybe she can smarm off into the sunset with Sam, who for all his blinking earnestness is a fairly smarmy guy, too.
 
I've probably read every post in this thread that wasn't spoiler tagged, but I mustn't have absorbed it, I have no preconceptions about how tonight will play out.
 
You know, Sam could have met Eve off camera. The fact that they are showing it makes me think Snez might be the winner. Otherwise why subject a kid to all that public scrutiny. Especially the aftermath of Snez not winning.
 
so from those articles we THINK we learn

there IS physical chemistry between Sarah and Sam (still dont get it - with Heather and Snez it is palpable - we got goosebumps ... with Lana ... zip ... he's got the hots for her - she's just smiling and gazing into his eyes so he is mesmerised by hers)
Snez suddenly realises the complications AFTER putting daughter through introduction ... um WHAT!!??!!
Heather still in it - she supposedly made it clear to Sam don't put me through the family visit thing if you're not sure of this ...
Heather's home visit is to mentor - (and he looks like he comes down hard on Sam on the promos)
Lana's mother is the voice of reason (you've only just met - don't be thinking my daughter is moving to Melbourne away from family, friends and work on the basis of 3 weeks buddy boy!! Keep it in your pants!!)

and Osher STILL on the Heather train along with me :) Toot! Toot! still some steam in the Heather train yet!

just an hour or so ago I was convinced Snez had it ... now ... pffttt ... not so much! ;) (middle name = denial!) lol

Wasnt there supposed to be a punch up? or has it already happened? heard something briefly about it on an advert for one of those magazines.

I must admit I'm still sus on him and Snez, I think they do have what it takes but I'm not sure I ever got goosebumps with her, with Heather I never saw anything but friendship.
I see something between him and Sarah, it seems natural and authentic but Sarah compared to both Heather and Snez, she doesn't command attention the same way.
Lana...yeah I think she's guarded...people are sort of unkind about Lana....she's come in late in the stage and I think people expect her to act like the others, she probably thinks she's not a big chance and is protecting herself.

I like the top 4, they are all different but decent paths he could take in life.
