The Bachelor Australia 2015

Yeah, sometimes I just wanna say "chill girl, this is what you signed up for" but then I look at it realistically and realise it's probably a very normal response. The other girls are quite horrible about her and she does seem to genuinely like Sam so being in that situation would naturally make anyone see red.

I also know a lot of it is highly scripted so it's difficult to know what reactions to take seriously.
I think its a really weird situation to be in ... you're signing up for a polygamist relationship - noone is really prepared for that unless you've grown up in a family within one

I'm hoping that Sam is taking a good long look at the bachelorettes' faces during the rose ceremonies ... Jasmine and Emily truly give themselves away and the camera's love to show their faces.

I think Heather's reactions are totally understandable - noone is going to relish the idea of the guy you are having feelings for (and for whom you believe those feelings are reciprocated) going on a date that involves a kissing record ... even the most secure person would not be thrilled with that idea!

I enjoyed Heather's white rose date - it showed she has no issue being herself with Sam - and I think that's where the likes of Emily will fall down in a heap.

So thankful not to have to listen to Sandra ever again!!!

Yeah, Heather is totally a stage 5 clinger. Hope Sam realizes that and doesn't let her win. Not that he would because we all know who he will choose in the end.
Sarah has been under the radar recently though.
She's just gorgeous though and probably should be the winner.

I wonder who might be the Laurina 'Dirty Street Pie' of this season, if indeed there is one. She had me almost in stitches with some of her princess priceless reactions. Perhaps it's Emily, sort of. (That's if she can swallow her pride and get some camera time).
can see them doing something like that to Emily ... she's already said she was glad not to go on sporty group date ... DING DING DING Emily - this guy is majorly into health and fitness ... sitting around looking beautiful and being a WAG on the sidelines probably isn't going to cut it with him ... WAKE UP sunshine - or he will (hopefully!)

This year though there's a few who I like.
Aside from Heather I also like Snez, Sarah, Jacinda.

I think if they showed more of Rachel I'd like her too - I think she's really attractive.

The only ones I actively dislike are Emily and Jasmin.

I don't see how she's a stage 5 clinger ... you're putting her into the same category as Jade with Ed ... (shudders)

Watching body language when they are together - Sam touches her - he puts his hand on her knee - so to me that signals he's totally interested.

Emily and her posse of spitefuls can crow all they like about "friend zones" but in any strong relationship its not only the chemistry and fireworks but the underlying actually LIKING the person you're with that makes it last.

Toward the end maybe but at the start it's like most dating in the real world, except your competition is in front of your eyes.
I know some people don't 'date' multiple people but when you first start talking to someone it's very rare that you're the only one they're talking to.

That's why I think Heather is a clinger, in the real world she'd be acting like they're 'meant to be' after 1 date.

I'd like to see more of Rachel - until last night we hadn't really seen much of Nina either
We haven't really seen Jacinda other than being in tears and comforted by Sam - the rest of the time its only been with the other girls and not interaction with Sam himself ... I'd like to see how they are together ... I don't think there's much going on there

I loved that they showed Sam telling Nina that he liked the fact she wasn't coming to him and saying she hadn't had a date - that for him that was a huge plus ... then they show both Sandra (over the top obviously!) AND Emily (during their one on one talk) mentioning the date situation ... another black mark on Emily's page ...

yes I'd agree with you about the start of dating BUT you're not living in a house with those people ... having to socialise WITH them and your date altogether in a group ... having to listen to how their dates went .. how they feel about him ... what they think of him ...

I don't think Heather is thinking they are meant to be - but she is being honest about being interested in him, having feelings for him - she's been honest in saying she is there for him not for the other girls and she's trying very hard not to get caught up in what they are saying and to block it out as much as possible PLUS not to show them how she's is feeling etc so as not to give them any ammunition in their cattiness ... however her face is an honestly expressive one at times ... I just prefer to see concern on her face rather than outright cattiness and moodiness that you plainly see during rose ceremonies from jasmine and emily ...

their thunderous faces plainly look like "how dare he give THAT girl a rose and not ME - what is he thinking!!! - he better not make ME wait too long!!! - I'm MUCH better than the rest of THESE girls - what is he thinking" ... then the face lights up with a very smug "SEEEEE he chose MEEEEEEE" when they do get a rose ... totally not a good look at all

that's why I love watching the show (and of course BB) basically - to watch faces and watch interactions between people and see if in the end I'm reading them right ... I don't believe people can put on an act over a period of weeks and hold that together when there are cameras around to catch them out

I also think with Heather - she's gone on the show to meet this bachelor - she's happy she likes him, she's happy he seems to like her and enjoys her company - and seeks her out each time for one on one chats during the cocktail parties ... I don't believe that makes her a stage 5 clinger - rather it makes her happy to be on this (wait for it - cos I'm going to use that horrible word!!) ... on this JOURNEY and that she doesn't have to just be going through the motions over some guy she really isn't that interested in.

To me Jasmine signalled a lack of true interest in Sam when she walked away from him when they were having some one on one time together - who does that??!! Unless she thinks playing hard to get is going to win this for her - and she'd be totally stupid to think that! Guys might find that initially "intriguing" but the novelty wears off pretty damn quick and they are bored with it real fast!

lol I think we are going to have to agree to disagree as I think people have their blinders on with Heather, I don't see what others see, I see a chick full of herself and pissed that she isn't the center of attention.I also find her incredibly lame lol.
Although, is Jasmine the one that went running to the group after Sam kissed Snez? If that's her, I'm not a fan and I'm not quite sure what she's doing there.

I don't think it's blinders. It's just different tastes.
Things that she does may seem interesting to me but seem lame to you.
People like Emily might seem interesting to you but bitchy to me.
I don't know about the clingy thing - a little insecure maybe? But it was Sam who came and got her during the cocktail party, she didn't go to him.

Getting jealous over someone you barely know is definitely clingy.
It'll be interesting to see how Heather acts in the coming weeks.

Also I must admit I'm not a huge fan of Sam, he comes across as pretty full of himself and how he doesn't remember Bec...not that Blake was great either, but be nice if they had a Tim repeat!

Who does everyone think quits? I think it might be Jacinta.

'I have been in tears tonight!' Emily Simms launches furious online tirade after claiming she has been unfairly portrayed on The Bachelor
ByJASON CHESTERandKARISHMA SARKARI FOR DAILY MAIL AUSTRALIA

She's currently vying for Sam Wood's heart on The Bachelor, but Emily Simms' pursuit of love took a back seat on Wednesday evening as she hit back at her portrayal on the hit show and its consequent impact across social media.

The attractive brunette - widely painted as the villain of the piece - used her popular Instagram account to post a lengthy missive about the barbed comments she has received over recent weeks.

Sharing her tirade alongside one of her Bachelor publicity stills, Emily, 31, insisted that while untroubled by the abuse, she believed it to be the direct result of manipulative editing on the part of Bachelor producers.

'I am going to do something I have been told not to do by people in the biz, and that is to be honest about how I feel,' she wrote. 'I always did it on the show, so I say, why stop now? I have always been very honest, ever since the moment I could speak. I could not be fake if I tried. I have one face, not two.

'I have been in tears tonight, not because of the nasty things social media trolls are saying (I wonder if any of you would be brave enough to say it to my face?), but because I am a very sensitive, kind and loving person.'

She added: 'I was bullied relentlessly at school, physically beaten up, emotionally tormented, for being too tall, my lips were too big, my neck was too long (saw a comment about my weird long neck tonight actually. Primary school flashbacks!!), it was never ending.'

Heavily edited: The brunette beauty says she is upset by how some of her looks and quotes have been edited to make her appear arrogant

Referencing her appearance on The Bachelor, Emily also expressed frustration at the decision to highlight her running conflict with love rival Heather Maltman - an early favourite in the pursuit of hunky Sam.

'I could never be cruel to another person. I am nothing like a b***h,' she wrote. 'Reality shows decide the "characters" for each of us before they even start filming. This is well known about reality TV. So for my funny, joking, laughing at myself, silly side, to not be shown at all, is really very upsetting to me.

'Soooo many hours of footage, and all they choose to show of me is that I found Heather annoying. I am so grateful for the amazing friendships I've formed because of this show, and the worst part about being on this show for me so far is to realise how many nasty, unintelligent people there are in the world, who actually believe everything they see on a reality show, and then feel the need to write nasty things about all of us.'

It will be interesting to see how it pans out given the many points of view. I suspect there's a fair dose of insecurity floating around under the surface, and Heather will provide some good viewing to come. Before he culls her..ooops.;)

'They've made me out to look like a b****!' The make-up artist from Melbourne claims she's the last person to make others feel bad after being bullied in high school

Directly referencing her critics, she added: 'What a sad world we live in. If you think you know me, and think I am a "b***h", based on how a reality show is edited, then please, look to the top of your screen and click "unfollow". #hatersgonnahate thank you so much to all of the beautiful messages I've received over the past few weeks. #love.'

The reality star previously touched on her show portrayal during an interview with TV WEEK, telling the magazine: 'I'm not like that at all! They've made me out to look like a b***h!

'I copped a lot of bullying in high school, so I'm the last person to make others feel terrible.'

The now-reality TV starlet claimed her comments have been taken out of context across the show and edited to make her 'sound really arrogant and I'm not like that at all'.

'I was honest with Heather': The bachelorette revealed her disagreement with Heather was not intense as it was made to seem and the pair aired out their issues and 'understood each other a lot better'

The brunette took to social media, telling fans and internet trolls alike: 'Just because someone rubs you up the wrong way, doesn't make you nasty.'

'Not once did I have a cross word with anyone in that house. When asked, I would always say how I felt, but never would I ever be malicious or nasty to another person.

Considered a front-runner for Sam Wood's affections, the Melbourne beauty says when there were rivalries inside the mansion, instead of getting involved, she did the exact opposite and showed her loyalty to her friends by staying silent.

Speaking about an incident early on against the other competition favourite, Heather Maltman, Emily added: 'I was honest with Heather in the house about what I had said, and how she made me feel.

'We aren't all going to get along': Emily admitted to one detractor online that the girls spend a lot of time together in the house and aren't always going to get along but she doesn't get nasty about things

'We discussed it and understood each other a lot better.'

Showing her maturity about the situation, Emily also responded directly to one detractor, telling them that because the girls are sharing bedrooms, bathrooms and spending so much time together, there are bound to be quirks that get on each other's nerves.

'We aren't all going to get along, we aren't all going to like each other. But that isn't an excuse to be cruel to someone,' she wrote in her detailed response.

'You just stay away from them, which is exactly what I did. Not act like we are best friends, then bitch behind their back,' she added.

Given that she's gone to media outlet and given this story can we surmise she isn't the eventual winner? I would think the winner would sit back and be quiet and only go on sanctioned media 'events' ...

if you knew me better you'd know that I tend to go out of my way to give people 'reasonable doubt' before coming down really anti anyone (have an on/off ~ love/hate thing about Tim Dormer - currently on OFF/bored with him ... for instance ... but that CAN change ... (yep sorry Sparrow!! lol)

Emily and Jasmine do my head in with the thunder faces and rolling eyes and gossiping/bitching - but I'm well aware we see what the producers want us to see ... and eventually will see other sides to them

believe me - if Heather shows me what I think constitutes a stage 5 clinger I'll be tell you about it ;)

I like Sam better than Tim to be honest. Tim kind of said all the right things but sometimes they seemed scripted. I think Sam is warmer. I'm not really sold on his looks but I think he's really genuine. (Blake nearly ruined The Bachelor for all time for me so I'm not counting him).

I think it's either Bec or Jacinda going tonight because I think I saw Ebru going on a one-on-one date with him in the promos earlier on in the season?

yep that's her ... threw me right back to high school ... JUNIOR years!!

and I'm also reminded of her and Emily up on balcony when they were taking the Great Gatsby shots - bitchy comments because Heather was front and centre in the shots ... hello? photographer & magazine editor would have been calling the shots on what THEY wanted ... and the other girls commenting "are we even here?" just would have rung bells of alarm for Sam if he doesn't like the girls coming to him to whine about the lack of dates etc ...

Sam told Heather she had the white rose - the ball was in her court for organising a date - he wasn't going to ask her and until she used it she was going to have to watch him date other people. To me that was him giving her the hurry along ... USE IT!! That may have come from production ... or may have come from him genuinely wanting to spend time with her

I think its interesting to watch during the cocktail nights who Sam singles out for attention - and I think its always Sarah, Snezana and Heather that he touches base with ... will be interesting to see if he adds Nina into that mix after their date or not

He might have been interested immediately after the kissing on the bridge date but maybe after their chat and one on one time later that same evening he realised she didn't really interest him as much as Snezana, Sarah and Heather do ... I guess we'll see tonight :)

Regarding Emily - I'm sure there's more to her than what we've seen. It's definitely possible that showing another side to her will balance what we have seen with the bitchy comments and laughing behind backs etc. But I still find it strange to deny that those comments were bitchy and blame it ALL on editing, as you can be selective in what you edit but you can't show people saying things they didn't say.

Does anyone else pay attention to how and who the girls get along with?

Just something to observe I guess.

constantly seem to see Emily and Jasmine together .. and Jacinda seemed to be there with them in early shows but not so much anymore?

Did you notice the awkwardness of the girls saying goodbye to Sandra last night? They weren't exactly rushing to say goodbye ... she had to wade into the midst of them and put her arms out to grab the closest few girls before they slowly came up to say their goodbyes ... she really must have been hard work to live with 24/7[DOUBLEPOST=1439428614][/DOUBLEPOST]

exactly - they can't show (or "portray") what you don't put out there in the first place
