The Bachelor Australia 2015

Agreed.
He's not into her.

Don't worry Reepbot I think she's over rated as well.
Snez for the winner.
Nicely put.

If your name wasn't sorceress, I might think you're also someone else on here, being new and all. Oh wait, your name is sorceress. Perhaps you're enigmatic too.

True, we all put our own shade on things. As well there are facts, and then there are opinions (....everyone has one ;)).

When the kiss was announced, Heather looked upset imo - it was in response to the bridge kiss (not the pulling leg one as I originally recalled).

After the "getting rid of" flirtation, he said "Who knows? Not sure. Not sure"
I'm not sure how else to interpret "not sure" lol
He was possibly saying it as a stalling technique? He perhaps feels that she's pushing which he doesn't want.
What I'm curious about is what on earth do they do all day when they're not on dates etc? Is there anything in the mansion to keep them busy and stimulated and to stop them going stir crazy, or are they lounging about like the harem they are?

I do agree Heather looks kind of nauseous at the thought of him kissing others, her feelings show on her face which isn't exactly a bad thing.
I didn't take it that he meant he wasn't sure though, he was teasing her and then he kissed her.

They would be bored as hell! No phones, no internet, no tv...wait.. it's like a girls only Big Brother!

Have a sneaking suspicion Sam might put Heather out of her misery very soon. He seems like a decent fellow (unlike last year's twat) who is decisively sorting through them straight up, and he wasn't giving Heather green lights.

Really? Wow, we read that exchange very differently.

I thought Heather said something along the lines of her being all in so Sam would have to get rid of her for her to leave and Sam responded by saying something like "I might not be able to get rid of you". Then Heather got all blushy and he kissed her.

If that was Sam being straight with her and a sign that her days are numbered then he seriously needs to shake up his approach because all I got from that exchange was him giving her very clear reassuring green lights that he liked her.

OK, everybody except reepbot is crushing on Heather, including me...but does anyone think she is a good match for a sporty jock kid fitness instructor. I think a large part of her attraction is thrill of the chase/competition/intellectual chip on her shoulder to win. The attraction tonight was quite good, but I'm not sure I can see them growing 40 together, let alone old.

You know, I can't really see any of them growing old together. I think it's because we still don't really know much about Sam other than the basics (e.g. what he does for a living, his family situation, etc.). The editors seem to be being intentionally vague there.

I will say though that in the episode when they were chatting while cooking dinner they did seem very natural together so I say there's potential there. Sam might be into fitness but he doesn't give off a meathead vibe so I don't think that automatically makes them incompatible - especially when Heather seems into fitness too from her intro package.

Given the nature of the show though the girls only being into him for the chase/competition aspect of it is always a risk. In this instance though I see that applying less to Heather (who seems to genuinely like the dude - hence looking quite upset) and more to some of the more high maintance girls who don't seem like they'd really enjoy Sam or his lifestyle at all.

I do admit that Heather's awkward and lamentable 'dude' and 'man' might be butterflies :)

I'm not suggesting he doesn't like her as a person, nor that he doesn't care about her feelings. Quite the opposite. I'm just not convinced he's that into her. As @KhunKhun said, it could easily be a stalling technique also. Saying "I'm not sure" is a warning light of some description imo. i.e. Don't get in too deep yet. Why else would he say it off the back of an affectionate exchange which followed her laying some of her feelings bare to him? He may actually care about not causing her grief in the long run. My suggestion is just an (unpopular) alternative possibility that adds some colour. :)

The attrition rate is so high that stalling is a good thing. Heather is resourceful and enterprising. She'll find extra gears.

I agree she's resourceful and enterprising (I actually quite like her), and it looks like she's going to need to be.

Oh, no no. I actually agree with you re a lot of these points. The part I didn't agree with was that he wasn't giving her green lights last night. If he's really not that keen, then I don't think saying that he might not be able to get rid of her (in addition to the lips kiss, general touchiness, etc) was the best set up to commence the voting her off the island so to speak. She'd be understandably confused if she went home soon after that exchange if you get what I mean.

Yeah that's what I'm reading too. Its subtle though.
But to me he was trying to communicate that she needs to stop with the dude stuff and being matey or she'll kill the attraction.
That's what he meant by "in the friendzone"

Heather also looks downright homicidal when the other girls talk about dates.
Snez actually laughed and hugged Nina when she told about the kiss.

Lol I am original sorceress but site got hacked and my email I had originally for this site is like 15 years old!
This site has changed...

Oh welcome back!! :D

I haven't gone in the BB section for a very long time now so I'm not too sure about the general forum but it's nice to see a few familiar user names.

^THIS^.

Sorry about that, you never know around here with some of the things that go on. My apologies thinking you were a new user.

It's funny, but I think for some reason I find Heather's FFS face more than tolerable...almost reasonable under the circumstances. Emily is just plain bitchy all the time, but Heather being told about a kissing record and rolling her eyes is almost....how a normal person should react :)

I understand what you're saying, and yes conflicting messages perhaps. I liked when he described the scenario of the show of the show as "unorthodox".

Well the whole thing is kinda bent out of shape to begin with. This was her response to the longest on screen kiss announcement. The reaction seems very raw and real to me. I think she's probably a nice person with a bit of crazy eye. Figuratively speaking.

Yeah, sometimes I just wanna say "chill girl, this is what you signed up for" but then I look at it realistically and realise it's probably a very normal response. The other girls are quite horrible about her and she does seem to genuinely like Sam so being in that situation would naturally make anyone see red.

I also know a lot of it is highly scripted so it's difficult to know what reactions to take seriously.
