Notice her posture compared to Lana's, Lana and Nina's body language is assertive and confidence.

Doesn't sound like they're at the finale yet at episode 16. No wonder they've had to stop Sam sending girls home. We have 4 episodes left to get rid of 2 girls by the sound of things.

but don't the home visits happen over 2 nights (2 visits each night?) so that would spread it out ...
so next week - 2 go
following week - 1 goes (after home visits?)
overseas with final 3 stretches over 2 nights?
finale night ... break out the chocolate!!

You're right, I forgot the hometown dates would probably go over 2 nights.

I think I read they're (final 5) meant to be going to the Blue Mountains or a beach house or something too though so I have no idea when that'll fit in. Maybe next Wednesday then hometown dates on Thursday (final 4)?

Sounds like the 3rd place girl goes home in episode 16 (nobody in 15) and then the final 2 go down to Tassie where they may have filmed the final?
 
The final is in Tassie? What about an international destination.... Europe or at least Asia.

Well at least the show is rating well, almost 1 million viewers last night.... And surprise surprise it beat the hot plates final.

after last year maybe they've decided to pull it back in to basics?

That's just my guess based on the episode description. Tassie would actually make a lot of sense. They've lowered the budget this year but Tassie has some absolutely beautiful spots for filming.

Oh I totally agree that Tassie would have some beautiful locations to shoot, but it just not feel finale worthy, do you get what I mean?
 
Yeah I think they are pulling out all the stops for Bette' so that's why this season looks slightly 'cheaper'.
Also, Sam's family is in Tassie so it's a good coincidence anyway and Tassie is pretty picturesque.

Yeah I get you but they might be going for the sentimental ending as it's Sam's home.


(It would also save them the cost of having to fly his family anywhere).

Some people are saying its like celebrating Lanas win, with the song and being all happy and cheerful, not sure if I believe it tho
