If Heather isn't the last one standing (and I still have doubts) I have to wonder why they're editing it the way they are. After last year I couldn't imagine them wanting any backlash against Sam, and from what I've seen online there will be a lot if Heather ends up getting hurt. If she wasn't the winner I don't think they'd let her come across that vulnerable on screen. I don't think they'd allow the current situation where a large portion of the fanbase fell for her and wanted to see her do well...only to see her get crushed and for Sam to cop it. Unless they want their next Bachelorette I suppose...
The editing is just pointing that way for me now. It has been building that way each episode but I thought last night was the turning point. I remember a date they did with Sam Frost last year where I was like "yep, she's the one". I had a similar lightbulb moment last night.
It actually makes a lot of sense given what's happened in the media. Get Heather out there early, build fan support, etc. Then put her on the back burner, overplay the friendship thing through the editing, spam Lana all over the media...all to cause doubt.
I could be way, way off here (there's some stuff that's been said in the media/social media that make me have serious doubts about it being Heather) but when I actually just ignore all of that and watch the show the choice and where this is heading is obvious in my eyes (or maybe I'm just seeing things that dont exist because I like her).
