The Bachelor 2 (2014)

Well well well

So it appears they were more like "friends" for a couple of nights in South Africa (according to Sam) right after the proposal (when the cameras switched off), and he broke up with Sam face to face in Perth 5 weeks later, stating it wasn't right. Says he is heart broken, lol.

Carrie quizzed him if there is someone else, Blake just said "Its not the time, still getting over this heartbreak" also said is getting over the heartbreak of letting so many others go on the show

Sam said Blake didn't even try to give it a go, felt him being stressed out a little after the proposal, so kept the distance and were more like friends. Feels numb about him now when asked if she still loves him. Sam was only wanting one engagement ever, and was upset that Blake took that away from her without even trying to give it a go. Said she cried a long time when he broke it off

I wonder now if he's actually gay and being on "the bachelor" was a way to get mega clingy mummy off his back for a while.

Sam live on the Project, nothing really new. Looks like she has gained some weight but looks good.
She seems happy and in good spirits and that beautifull smile was always present. Im happy she is ok

- Asked if she would consider being the Bachelorette and having guys chase her for a change. She said she is all bachelor-etted out now, maybe ask her in 6 months time

- Said no guys are chasing her in the real world (I think a lie) "hello im single you know are they watching" lol. But then said she actually needs some downtime before dating again

- Gets strength from the other Bachelorettes, said she has called "most of them" and they all assured her they aint dating Blake (as per rumours)

- Lost her voice telling everyone she doesn't know why she was dumped

- Speaks to Lisa twice a day (I think they are close, lol)

oh gosh Kismet, this could be another genuine rumour that does the round for a week or two , lol

I am serious. In hindsight, the "thanks, nice for you to say' replies when women spilled their guts is a thing. Last years bachelor was more forthcoming with his replies. Blake though was non committal and just robotic, like he was going through the motions, but actually feeling nothing as in partnership to any of the women.

Was this on towards the end of the project? I kinda wanna see Neighbours and I want to see the interview itself, so I assume it's on around 7:30ish on the project yea?

You should be able to see it on ten play. Just google it. I would provide the link but am currently on an iPad and can't work out how to do shit on it..lol. Can post the link tomorrow if it helps.

Think a bit late in responding but yeah toward the end of the show. so somewhere in the 7-7.30 time. You can catch the encore of the project on at 11.27pm (already started here in Melbourne) or just see it on tenplay.

Nah tis good I just watched it, thanks tho guys!

It was p interesting though I dunno it was lacking in something. It just kept me wanting more even though there literally is nothing else more to know about their relationship (I think...?)

Yeah, nothing much really discovered. She's out with Tully, jasmine, Boog and Chantelle and Zoe from The Bachelor right now though. They've been posting their pics on Instagram. Though Sam hasn't posted any on her account yet.

That didn't take long! Sam Frost attends singles night with fellow The Bachelor contestants Chantal and Zoe

On Tuesday night jilted The Bachelor contestant Sam Frost said in an interview on The Project: 'I think I need to take some time out from the dating scene.'

But it seems in the time it took her to leave the show's Melbourne studio and head to a party held by a travel company for singles, she might have changed her mind.

The 25-year-old blonde, who was dumped by Blake Garvey weeks after he proposed to her on the reality show, showed the Bachelor what he's missing in a tight-fitting blue pencil skirt and delicate lace singlet at a function held by I Heart Travel at The Pier in Port Melbourne.

Looking for love?Sam Frost attended the launch party of singles travel company I Heart Travel in Melbourne on Tuesday night with fellow The Bachelor contestants Zoe O'Brien and Chantal Hryniewski

According to the company's website, I Heart Travel offers the chance to 'meet hundreds of like minded, compatible and single people' and offers a variety of singles holiday packages.

But rather than scout for others looking for love, the financial assistant merely enjoyed a catch up with fellow The Bachelor contestants Zoe O'Brien and Chantal Hryniewski.

The three women, who all competed for Blake's affection on The Bachelor but have banded together after the show, also met up with some fellow Australian reality TV stars - Big Brother's Tully Smyth and Alex 'Boog' Roe.

Some of Sam's fellow The Bachelor contestants, especially Zoe and Chantal, have rallied around the Melbourne woman since 31-year-old Blake proposed to her on the show, before cutting ties with her weeks later.

With her no regrets attitude, the jilted fiance has refused to spend her nights huddled up indoors, instead going out with her girlfriends regularly and sharing photos of their adventures on social media.

When asked on The Project on Tuesday night if the sisterhood has helped heal her broken heart, Sam answered instantly.

'Absolutely.

'My girlfriends I can't even express how much love I have for them,' the finance and insurance consultant gushed.

Party time! After a day of interviews about her shock split from Blake, Sam probably just wanted to let her hair down with her friends

She also praised the other bachelorettes from the show during the LIVE interview, for their support.

'Literally every single one of them contacted me with messages of support,' the blonde said of the girls' reaction to her Monday night interview.

'They could have been bitter but the're not, they're so supportive.

'I feel very lucky actually.' Sam said, also revealing she speaks to fellow finalist Lisa twice a day.

Legging it! Tully showed off her pins in a black playsuit paired with matching boots

Returning to The Project as a follow-up to her Monday night tell-all, Sam joined the panel at the desk to talk about the public reaction to her and Bachelor Blake Garvey's interviews about their split.

'I'm a bit Bachelor-ed out at the moment but ask me again in six months,' Sam replied when asked if she'll be Australia's first The Bachelorette.

The popular blonde, who has been thrust into the spotlight following her proposal and swift split with Blake, has been the subject of much speculation that she will take on the yet to be announced role.

'Yeah, I read that in the papers too,' Sam confessed, adding that she didn't know any more about it other than the media speculation.

'My rock': Sam and Chantal have forged a strong friendship outside of the house and continue to catch up

Speaking about the public's interest in their relationship and subsequent split, Sam described it as 'absolutely crazy' and a 'whirlwind'.

'I've lost my voice from talking about it so much,' she said in a croaky voice.

Despite all of Blake and Sam's interviews discussing their sides of the story, the heartbroken reality TV star confessed that she's even more confused now.

'I still have no idea why he broke up with me,' she said when asked what she thought of Blake's interview on the show the previous evening.

I am a bit more mellow towards Blake and can at least now understand his point of view better (as long as he is still genuinely single) as devastating as it is for Sam. If it is all genuine and he really is upset and has his heart broken , then I do feel for the guy and the hatred towards him has been unfair and unjust.

But what bugs me in a way. He keeps saying he proposed "in the moment". But he got the ring made in Australia weeks before the finale. The jeweller asked him about a friendship ring or if he wanted something more than that. He didn't hesitate Blake wanted more (engagement ring). So he planed to propose for a while, without any push or desire from the shows producers. But then again he was in this bubble and not doing normal every day things he would normally do. I guess this is the major flaw of the show, post show.

Sam hanging out with Tully has me worried a bit. Sam is in a totally different league to her. But am wrapt Zoe, Lisa, Chantelle are keeping her company, all quality ladies.

I can understand your point of view, but the guy had me creeped-out from the get go and I never saw anything genuine about him, nor his responses, whether directly to any of the women or when doing the between scenes spiels. In fact the only time I saw what could be considered a genuine emotional reaction, is when he got rid of Lisa.

Yes that bugged me too. Perhaps though the ring was going to be for ANY of the women who ended up being in the final 2, not specifically made especially FOR Sam. At least Tim last year gave Anna a promise-style ring to see how things worked out in the real world ..a commitment to see how it goes. In Sam's interview, she said post proposal, Blake just shut down, and it was all down hill from there. The irony too is, he sent Jessica home because she wasn't willing to jump into a full-blown engagement situation. Perhaps if he's straight, the ring purchased was actually meant for her and his ego was crushed because she wasn't on board with the "BIG BIG" immediate love he constantly crapped on about. If that IS the case, then he' a damn hypocrite.

Agreed but I reckon Tully's a skank. "nuff said on that.;)

Fair enough (though he also cried a little when he let Jess go)

I'll be honest and thought he came across as a gentleman and genuine, which was a big reason why I kept watching (Im not gay btw, lol). The 4 parents of the last 4 girls and their siblings all adored him, there really wasn't one doubt or issue from them at all. He seemed like a decent bloke (fitzy and wippa even acknowledge this), just his downfall was majorly screwing up on something he thought he was doing the right thing. Now he is being punished and dissected mercifully from what happened on the show and afterwards. Maybe there is more to the story, more to Blake?

No real winners here, well except for ch10 and the recent media gossip it has generated

Well, Channel Ten if nothing or no-one else, needed that boost..lol

We can't know for sure just how the sibs and parents felt as editing plays a huge part on these type of shows. Clearly as far as Jessica is concerned, there was far more than met the eye, or we saw relating to just how ready SHE was for a full on relationship, as he dad on air made it clear...that if it was the right guy, she WOULD be ready. That leaves me to wonder why Blake would take her aside on rose night to ask her. Perhaps the dad said that we didn't hear, he was not sure Jess saw Blake as the right guy? Just seems weird to bother considering the edited show of that meet and greet we all saw. Such a dramatic measure doesn't seem to be necessary?

Perhaps I see him a little differently as my BG is in sales and marketing, hence knowing first hand "standard" acceptable responses to things? He's in RE FFS so he has certain patter own pat. He MAY well have been genuine in some situations, but some of the standard responses he gave were....standard responses you give when you don't have any real feeling invested in the one's receiving the "praise", but rather, just giving them faux appreciation.

Seriously, even apart from that.. for a chick to spill her guts as to how she is truly feeling about a guy and getting in return.. "thanks...I am speechless...thanks for sharing that" coupled with a smirky smile... every time he did that.. I was like.. WTF dude? BTW if it were a Bachelorette using the same lines, I would be verbally bitch-slapping her too.

come on kismet, Jess's old man said a good firm handshake is the hallmark of a great bloke, that's good enough for me O_O
